In advance of Election Day, I really encourage folks to not spread rumors about ICE at the polls, b/c those rumors could suppress votes. I'm worried they will be falsely seeded/amplified. Operatives on the right have been setting the stage for this since Feb katestarbird.substack.com/p/effective-...

We published another article today, this one about the DOJ's play to potentially contest results in Alaska due to a same-name candidate running in the Senate race there. We highlight a bit of hypocrisy, as the GOP has benefited from similar dynamics in the past. uwcip.substack.com/p/a-tale-of-...

I’m going to start a thread on our election work today. Today, we’ll be publishing a deep dive into Alaska rumors & following the DOJ’s latest efforts (in WA) to craft an illusion of widespread non-citizen voting, using arrests, press releases & threats to states as “pseudo events” to grab attention

Breaking News! Code: y-Axis Alert! Yesterday's Nino 3.4 preliminary sea-surface temperature anomaly set a new record high, at 3.48°C above the 1991-2020 baseline. To clearly show this anomaly, the y-axis max was raised to 4.0°C. Attention historians: this is gobsmackingly bananas.

U.S. emissions grew because of increased electricity demand, as well as Trump administration policies that support the burning of fossil fuels.

Spelled out more explicitly: the people most likely to die of the flu, covid, measles, diphtheria, tetanus, etc, are the people who now cannot easily access the necessary PREVENTIONS. This is an intentionally murderous policy (or lack thereof). Bubonic Bobby needs to be fired and held accountable.

At face, the lack of an ACIP board seems like a DC red tape thing, but this is a sneaky eugenics effort. When vaccines are not recommended by ACIP, they are not covered by insurance or available for free through Medicaid…meaning the most physically and financially vulnerable don’t have access.

It costs $13k to vaccinate every newborn in Guinea-Bissau. Yet the CDC wants to spend $1.6M to "study" a vaccine we already know is safe and most effective when given at birth. Talk about wasteful government spending

Stand Up for Science Washington reposted

UPDATE: Turns out this study was rushed for approval because of the fiscal year ending. Congress designated the $1.6M for global health security, so instead of combating Ebola, it's being wasted on this. Denmark continues to stand by the study, despite what WHO or the Helsinki declaration says.
