time to baseball post: i almost feel bad for tampa, they put all the pieces together and make it to the world series, and they're undoubtedly good enough to win, but they run into this Brewers team. i mean sure it's not over yet, but idk. it certainly feels like it's destiny

after enough time of being a furry sometimes you forget how cool it is that you get to be a furry.

Linux went from the scrappy, half-broken thing I need to carefully advise on trying to a thing I can universally recommend everyone, just in time for Windows to shit the bed so thoroughly that people are more interested in trying to switch

Social media loves talking about how everything is getting worse. But what’s something that you’ve seen get _better_ in your lifetime?

i know it's some algorithm bullshit but a pet peeve of mine is when people put the funny bit at the beginning of the short video then it plays again in the middle of the video. it makes me wonder if the video is broken somehow

admittedly i'm also thinking about it because i've seen at least two videos that did that in the past couple days so it's like "what why" i mean, i know why, tiktok algorithm stuff. so people mindlessly swiping might stick around for a few extra seconds

The Guardian, which broke this story, kept it high on the agenda with daily reveals, opinion pieces and updates for two weeks, relentless exposure which clearly paid little attention to the duty of care towards the individual concerned. www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2026...

we don’t use generative AI, have hand drawn 2D animated sprites, AND our game is coded by a bearded canadian guy with glasses so you be the judge of that
