DLSS 5 is not even DLSS its not just upscaling to enhance the quality of the image its changing the fundamental design of the image and character design. Changes to the eyes, nose, lips, even the cheekbones. Its an AI overlay plane and simple and it looks awful.

If you could just drop episode 7 & 8 while a bunch of people are off work today that would be greattttt! Please and thank you!

I played this so much as a kid and I am so hyped to play it more as an adult. I really hope this is a hint that a new modern Mario Paint is in the works!

Just got out of seeing #F1 with the wife and that was a great movie to watch in theatres! They did a great job of capturing the feeling of being in the race. Looking forward to the 4k bluray release. Also that movie must have cost a fortune and it shows on the screen! #F1movie

EB Games is back baby!

I am a very happy Canadian right now!

I collected heavily for the Switch with over 250+ physical games and still growing! I understand game-key cards benefit consumers that like to purchase digital and that's great. Personally I will not buy a Switch 2 game if it's not on the cartridge. We know online services will end eventually.

@vgp-videogamesplus.bsky.social Will you be doing Switch 2 preorders tomorrow at midnight as well like other Canadian retailers?

Been watching Oblivion gameplay and the remaster looks excellent. Now give me a big box physical edition and give this same loving treatment to Morrowind!

Your time has come yet again my friend, but this time in 4K 😆

That is a very bad call by Nintendo and I imagine is going to piss off a significant amount of Canadian gamers.

Windows 11 decided to turn on a privacy setting that restricts other apps from using my microphone. I spent two hours trying to troubleshoot the audio issue thinking it was driver related. Mark my words I am moving to Linux. I may have to dual boot for a while but I am moving to Linux!

I feel like I am still recovering from how good the Severance finale was.

@vgp-videogamesplus.bsky.social any idea if if you will be doing preorders for the Tony Hawk 3 + 4 Collectors edition?

Weird the Discover feed on @bsky.app in Firefox on PC seems to not auto load more posts once you scroll to the bottom. Wonder if this is a known issue?

The return of Mario Paint on the Switch 2 is inevitable!

If the rumors of the Switch 2 joycons being able to act like some sort of mouse are true I really really want a new Mario Paint. I need to get my fly swatter game back!

The Nintendo Switch 2 does not appear to have an IR sensor in the right Joycon. So I imagine the only games not backwards compatible with with Switch 2 are games like Ring Fit, 1-2 Switch, WarioWare Move It ect.

Give me it, give me all of it! Also physical backwards compatibility is amazing. I have over 250+ different physical switch games so I am already starting off with a backlog on the Switch 2! www.youtube.com/watch?v=itpc...

This is an absolute must by for any physical collectors. I am getting this for the Switch and could not be more excited to play this absolute master class of a JRPG collection www.gematsu.com/2025/01/luna...

If true and preorders go live for the system then its possible Canadians could preorder the Switch 2 without federal tax. Make sure you preorder from a retailer that would charge you right away in full/ Any retailer like Amazon or Bestbuy will charge at time of shipping so avoid them.

Going to be building four of these billy bookcases from Ikea today to start the new year. Giving my hardcover graphic novel and physical media collection a serious storage upgrade that was very needed!

The first episode of Squid Game season 2 really got me locked in by the end of the episode. We are so back!

Can you tell from some of these Christmas presents that I am still a child at heart 🤣

I will always believe that Secret of Mana is telling the true story of Christmas!

@vgp-videogamesplus.bsky.social Is there a way to redeem more then 4000 points for $5 off or are you limited to $5 off per order? Just curious as I got like 18,000 points 😂

The Messenger is one of the best indies I have played and is easily in my top three games of all time. It is also one of the most expensive games to collect on Switch so highly recommend people do not sleep on this one!

Really really happy this is getting a physical release. I have not played it yet but I have heard such excellent things. Excited to add this to my physical switch collection and Fangamer always does a top notch job with their releases.

Time for the Game Awards! At this point if Hollow Knight Silk Song is not shown I just have to assume its a launch title for the Switch 2.

The first episode of Secret Level which is the Dungeons and Dragons short has set the bar really high for the rest of these shorts. Honestly felt like a DnD one shot and I am here for it. Can't wait to watch the rest of the episodes!

#Whamageddon is in full force

If you engage, people will engage with you!

This is why physical media preservation is so important! Happy GOG is going to keep these versions running on modern systems for anyone that owns the game through them digitally though!

Really looking forward to seeing a clip of a news organization on air using the term "skeeting" to talk about sending messages on BueSky The community has really out done itself on this one

Going to Twitter is like walking down into the basement in Home Alone

Watched my 4k bluray of the 1993 Super Mario Bros movie last night and man what a wild ride that is! It is an entertaining watch all the way through especially if you try focusing on all the little details and easter eggs throughout the film instead of the overall story. Cult classic honestly!

In the process of buying presents for Christmas I appear to have a one for you one for me system going and I think I am ok with that

Curious if @jay.bsky.team and the bsky team have ever discussed doing something for members on their anniversary of joining the platform Similar to Reddit's cake day where you get the cake symbol beside your name in comments and your profile. Bet the community could come up with something cool!
