The Rosebuds Sunday title panels are akin to a Simpson's couch gag in that I make them different every week. And like the couch gags, it'd be cool to have guest artists contribute one every once in a while. To start this new trend off, next Sunday's title panel features a VERY special guest artist.

The Funny Pages comic strip exhibition at the Anderson Museum of Art ends this Saturday. There was a front-page newspaper article of the show and included the key art for the exhibition. This has created a full circle moment of curating a museum exhibit about the funny pages IN the funny pages. 🥹

This is such a sweet thing to say. I adore that I can say I make a comic strip that appears alongside them in newspapers. I really push myself every day to be better than yesterday and put all my love into this craft. Thank you for giving me a chance at this! I don't take it for granted!

I grew up with artists like Bill Watterson, Charles Schulz, and Jim Davis. I am elated to put you in with those legends as my current favorite daily comic strip even as an adult!

I had the HONOR of seeing @suprdee2.com today and it was amazing. He even ended up drawing in my sketchbook! To honor those, today's Senior Buns 51 and 52 are me trying to recreate the pen sketch he did. I really tried to not use the Redo option and follow his freehand #Rosebuds #SeniorBun

All the Rosebuds Sunday title panels so far. They've been really fun to do as an extra way to do random/semi-related illustrations since I don't have time to do them on my own.

had an absurd late night concept. sort of based on an X comment about the sisters knowing they're in a newspaper comic. like a dark meta thing. really i want to believe maria would thrive off the revelation. it means the world gets to see all this greatness daily.
