FBI: "We didn't zip tie children." REPORTER: "Here's a photo of a zip tied 14 year old." FBI" "OK, we didn't zip tie YOUNG children."

this is insane. www.kivitv.com/canyon-count...

I think we’ve all been reiterating that the Republicans have no plan for healthcare. Here’s my suggestion for Democrats. Have an actual solid plan for immigration and start getting the message out NOW ahead of the 2028 election. Because that’s what I don’t think we have a plan for.

Two things can be true at the same time.

The murder of Charlie Kirk was criminal, wrong, and should be condemned. And Charlie Kirk was a horrible, hateful man who spent his life radicalizing young people to embrace their worst demons by targeting women, people of color, immigrants, and the marginalized. I refuse to sanitize him.

“I find it unconscionable that someone could step up to serve, voluntarily, in our military and be willing to sacrifice their life for our country only to have their families torn apart.” This article first appeared @thewarhorsenews.bsky.social

motherjones.com"They’re taking Shirly": An Army sergeant thought his family as safe. Then ICE deported his wife. For tens of thousands of US service members with undocumented family members, there’s no guaranteed protection from immigration raids.

This is the actual cancer at the heart of our health system and a driver of wealth inequality.

New from @davidarmstrongx.bsky.social: When I was diagnosed with cancer, I set out to understand why a single pill of Revlimid cost the same as a new iPhone. I’ve covered high drug prices as a reporter for years. What I discovered shocked even me.

Appeals court rejects Justice Dept argument in Abrego Garcia case "It's difficult in some cases to get to the very heart of the matter. But in this case it's not hard at all. The govt is asserting a right to stash away residents of this country in foreign prisons w/out the semblance of due process"

WOW. One of the Venezuelans whom Kristi Noem tried to render to El Salvador's slave prison managed to avoid removal and was able to make it to immigration court, and you'll never guess what happened: THE GOVERNMENT GAVE NO EVIDENCE OF HIS GANG MEMBERSHIP. Due process ftw

The administration’s plan is to de-value the dollar to attract manufacturing. We will be sacrificing our higher standard of living to promote lower paying jobs. If it’s cheaper to manufacture here guess who’s not getting paid as well?

www.nytimes.com/2025/04/14/o... Dems could maybe win enough over the next four years to whiplash us back to a stable place. But once the nation isn’t feeling the economic pain the people revert back to division, complacency, and civic apathy. Our system needs a structural cure, not just economic.

nytimes.comOpinion | James Carville: How to Turn Trump’s Economic Chaos Against HimTie the president to the people’s pain, and make the message local.

The Dems should be hammering every day that Trump was in the White House laughing at the American people as they were watching their retirement evaporate while he and his cronies made millions on the market crash. 1/2

They are going to “find”/manufacture infractions now.

“The Trump administration has ordered State Department employees to report on any instances of coworkers displaying ‘anti-Christian bias’ as part of its effort to implement a sweeping new order on supporting employees of Christian faith.”

Perhaps they should be “wellness checking” on the thousands of kids who still have not been reunited with their parents after border separation in the first administration.

Federal officials said they were doing wellness checks on children who arrived unaccompanied at the border. School administrators turned them away. (via @laist.com)

missed this one last night: "Japan expressed interest Tuesday in participating in the NATO command for its Ukrainian mission based in Germany in what would be a major boost in ties with the largely European alliance."
