I tried a lovely faux bagel recipe yesterday using Greek yogurt, but I messed up and used vanilla flavoured Greek yogurt. The result is...weird but edible. I will eat these mutant bagels and try, try again. #foodsky #lazybaker #breadsky

If what you are about to say relies on the premise that transphobes care about being logically consistent then you're about to waste your time

i promise you are not owning anyone by bringing up trans men when it comes to bathroom stuff they just don’t want trans people generally to be in public or be alive lol. you can’t beat these people with rhetorical tricks

BlueSky isn't even all that leftist though. But if you are a Nazi, any opinion that isn't fascist probably will seem like it.

Remember, it’s okay for radio, cable, local news, newspapers, podcasts, youtube, facebook, and twitter to be right wing echo chambers. But IT IS NOT OKAY for a new app that’s starting to gain traction to be a left wing echo chamber. NO NO NO NOT FAIR! 😠 😭

Seven Times Authors Committed #CrimesAgainstReaders The last one will shock you. (read this in the same deadpan monotone of that ai voice on those listicle reels) one: "He burst into a smile" two: "He filled the air with his maleness" three: "The stores were filled full" /1

six: "Everyone looks towards the speech box, instigated by curiosity, they want to know with the utmost accuracy, what is happening up there, regardless of the danger they run before the imminent spread of fear, which may end in a general stampede."

before you hear the last one be sure to like and follow seven: "My length swelled and twitched as I thrust into his hand" Men, how often do you refer to your erections as your length?

four: "a memorial to a past best forgotten" and from the same book, "as their retinas connected" five: Opened a book on my TBR. First page the "immortal" characters are dying in droves. Does author not know what "immortal" means?

does it mean each American eats two million pizzas a day, or there is one American who eats two million pizzas a day? both seem dubious, but hey it's on the internet so it must be true

This is an echo of the general election. The trans Democrat is blamed for "sparking" the crisis despite the fact she did nothing beyond be herself. Before she arrived to DC, or made any demands, the GOP preemptively turned her identity into a political issue. So, who is doing identity politics?

what is with writers and "naked except for the item of clothing s/he wore" ?? I'll try this author again because I think I read one of hers I didn't hate, which is alas not this one, but.... does a hashtag for "This book isn't awful but I hate it anyway" exist?

Goodreads is owned by Jeff Bezos. A better alternative is StoryGraph, a Black woman-owned platform. And before y’all start, you can transfer all your Goodreads data to Storygraph so you literally have no excuse.

You are up to date.
