On a more serious note - people who only follow for follow are annoying af. Follow someone because you enjoy their content and it gives you joy. If they follow back, cool. If they don’t, so be it. Too many people see the relationships (even parasocial ones) as transactional and it’s kinda rude.

Yeah, I'm also stopping on those. I don't want a bunch of redundancy in my feed anyway, especially with the inability to only leave reposts on for certain accounts. So I've decided to just focus on following people I remember from Twitter or anyone interesting I come across.

I did at the cesspool because of the arbitrary following/follower ratio rule. In two weeks here, I already have more followers than I had in over 11 years there. I credit Brown Eyed Girl with that since she put me in her starter pack. I wish someone would develop a drag queen starter pack.

Follow backs are nice but that kind of entitlement is crazy. If she wants followers so badly, maybe she should focus on making followable content and stop worrying about other accounts

Exactly who do they think they are trying to tell other people how to use social media? I follow accounts because they post content I like, maybe that's why they don't get follow backs. a quick look over their timeline shows reposts and angry demands more than fresh content
