As of now Silent Hill Townfall, after two updates, is BARELY playable on PC. Ending boss, 2 frames per second. Extreme lag and freezing, scenes and assets not rendering in. Games like Cyberpunk and KCD run fine on high settings for me. Even on low, Townfall is not optimized at all.

Thus happens more towards the end parts of the game but you can see the frame/audio stutter early on at various points. When I played when first came out, it ran fine-ish. The two updates essentially trashed this game. Takes forever to boot up and down too when not an issue before.

I have video of the issues. I had been streaming offline to some friends who can't make my streams. Before updates, never had a problem doing this. After updates, it was BAD. And my cpu/memory never hit super highs during this, I have monitors on them for games.

This is gut-wrenching. I had so many people dm me this because they knew I was the "bioware friend". I grew up on these games, hours/days/months of play on Dragon age alone. Bioware devs/artists were inspirations to me. But Bioware and EA ceos gutted this company.

Since Dragon Age 2, we saw how little EA cared for Bioware outside of Mass Effect and even then they treated Mass Effect badly when we hit Andromeda. Let's not forget Anthem as well. It's an end of an era but I'll keep playing these games on stream, to introduce people to them.

This probably had to do with EA's new acquisition and what EA considers a profitable game. They do not care for art, only money. I just hope the vultures sell the Bioware IPs to companies that will use and respect them instead of shoving them on a shelf for tax credits.

My sister, realising RenPy engine by itself would not let her properly put in our puzzle, went and studied, asked other game devs, and eventually frankenstiened a new code into such a non-user friendly engine and our puzzle works. She never touches ai to code for her, she's proud of her work.

"Well what about art? I can't draw." A person in a server I'm in is wanting to create a game. His friend did some sketches of three main so he sat in call coloring them himself and making a logo. He asked us artists in call about color theory, general art, and I taught him quickly to use PS tools.

Not once did he turn to AI and he was excited when he did these things himself and learned about the tools. In a couple hours in a random discord call, he now had a better grasp of PS and how to create his art direction. Most artists don't gatekeep, we WILL help you, we like seeing accomplishments.

I love seeing the weird and obscure of art because someone sat, storyboarding and recording with passion, to bring something unforgettable. Both music and art giving each other a life that transcends their creators and makes you sit there and think, to interpret "what were they trying to say?".

More spooky indie demos: Subliminal: Got immersed and would continue. The Hambagu shop: Cute, not optimized at all, needs work. Dark Stream: No shade on VA, good on them for making me HATE the streamer character. Bad audio balancing. Gameplay was too basic, no saving whatsoever, not even auto.

I don't think $30k is a life-changing amount of money. Median American born in 1980 will have $2m in income in their lifetime. It's a 1% increase in earnings.
