I value the First Amendment. I also understand that while I have the right to say whatever I want, other people have the right to accept whatever punishment comes with retaliating against my speech with violence. So I try not to be an a** hole.

This bill creates a near-slave class. No more waiting for work in the field you were trained in. If the government deems you "able bodied" you'll have to take whatever shit job paying $7.25 an hour the Republican donors have for you.

First they came for the Venezuelans And I did not speak out Because I was not Venezuelan Then they came for the foreign grad students And I did not speak out Because I was not a foreign grad student Don't be that person. Let's make sure this poem stops here this time.

They don't know the difference between seeking asylum and insane asylums. They don't know the difference between transgenic and transgender. They didn't realize the people they fired actually kept our nuclear weapons secure. Politics aside, how can anyone trust these people to run a country?

I think the problem with US political discourse is not that the electorate is any dumber than in years past. It's that social media allows for unearned confidence, leading to uninformed takes. And once you post a stance on something, it becomes very hard to admit you're wrong.

That'll show him! Honestly, Democrats really need to stop playing by an outdated set of rules that only they acknowledge.

Democratic lawmakers are expected to communicate their opposition to Donald Trump during the president’s joint address to Congress on Tuesday night by color-coordinating.

Far Left: There's no difference between Democrats and Republicans! Middle Left: There's no difference between the Far Left and the Far Right! Middle Right: Any Republican will do! Far Right: We won again?!?!

We're at the point where Republicans could enact a 50% income tax on people making below $400k and a 0% rate on billionaires, and a significant amount of their base would cheer because it angers Democrats. They'll cheer their own suffering as long as we're suffering too.

Just when I start worrying about the dangers of AI, something like this happens, and all those worries are washed away.

This morning at Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HQ in DC as mandatory return to office began, this video played on loop for ~5 mins on screens throughout the building, per agency source. Building staff couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so sent people to every floor to unplug TVs.

A little kindness goes a long way. Our neighbor got creative with his shoveled snow, and it brings me a little joy every time I go past it. Whoever you are, wherever you are, there is some small thing you can do that will make someone's day just that much better. So do it!

He told us who he was in the Access Hollywood tapes. Now it's "Just grab 'em by the Gaza." He thinks this will be just as easy as that.

While meeting with the King of Jordan and a visibly uncomfortable Rubio today, Trump now changes his position from yesterday and says the US is not going to buy Gaza, we are just going to take it: “We’re gonna take it, we’re gonna hold it, we’re gonna cherish it.”

Needed this so much right now. I just called out the fact that Kendrick Lamar carried that red, white, and blue theme through. He owned it! My fam knew what that meant. THEY don’t want us here, but they do not own the flag. “Not Like Us”

I keep thinking about the failures of Elon Musk. These are just two of the PUBLIC ones. He has a track record of jumping the gun and falling flat on his face. Sure, maybe he eventually gets there, but with USAID and other orgs, that means many, many people will die before he gets there.
