Immigrants are being denied or given redacted copies of their immigration records, documents which they need to prove their legal status in court. In some cases, the Trump Administration is even saying these records don’t exist even when lawyers know they do. This is illegal.

This can't come just from the Executive Branch, which has failed to be transparent about its proposed AI testing framework. Congress must pass AI legislation. We have bills that already have bipartisan consensus, but we also must enact broader regulation to address systemic safety risks.
