it cannot actually be ignored or danced around that the closure of BioWare came so soon after the Saudi and Jared Kushner acquisition of EA. they absolutely did take the studio making EA’s broadly queerest games out back and shoot it old yeller style. do not let yourself or colleagues ignore that

I swear to God if I see another post or comment about how James had caretaker fatigue and that's why he killed Mary, I am going to start biting people. HE WASN'T EVEN HER CARETAKER SHE WAS BEING CARED FOR IN A HOSPITAL AND WAS ONLY SENT HOME BECAUSE SHE WAS ABOUT TO DIE AND HE KILLED HER ANYWAY!

Meanwhile Scotland has otters, mackerel, osprey and red squirrels on the back of some of our notes and no one fucking cares lmao.

Imagine being Capcom, making a shit ton of money, well reviewed games, an ever growing fanbase for gaming's biggest horror franchise and you still decide to shoot yourself in the dick and implement AI features in your new engine.

What kinda spell do I need to put on Capcom and Konami so they'll finally port Gregory Horror Show to modern systems? That shit was ahead of its time and I can't believe Americans never got to experience it😭

Or you need to sleep. You learn everything you need by saying on the guests who all have different routines! It's also fucking funny! If you need to get Gregory away from his desk then you give him a porn mag he can "postpone" and then he runs off to a drafty storeroom to read it lmao.

And its still scary, the fucking chase music is tense as fuck and you are barely fast enough to outrun most of the cast except Hell's Chef who is insanely fast and your only true safe haven is your room. And your health is also a sanity meter and you go insane and game over if you run out of it.

Every guest is a puzzle you need to figure out to get the soul they are holding. Some guests will hunt you on sight once you get their soul and can possibly team up against you if you get really unlucky. Herbs are your standard healing items but there are other ailments that need specific treatments

"You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?" Is treated as some deep line but in context it's hilarious because Link just got mugged, turned into a deku scrub and beaten up by a tiny fairy. Like yeah, Happy Mask Salesman, things could be going better.
