I'm starting to think these broad strokes cuts to government positions by people who are unaware of their critical role is not wise.

So in sum: Elon Musk’s DOGE fired a bunch of NOAA staff. Then he realized they were skilled workers doing critical work for public safety. So he tried to hire them back. Just a thought - maybe learn how the federal govt works before firing your best employees.
