This is great news. Very excited for the communities features to come too. This could be the last remaining hurdle for many people coming from facebook. A true healthy replacement.

What's up, chat! Group chats are rolling out today in the new v1.124 update. This is our first feature built for communities, and there's more to come.

Right. I've watched many angles of the Alex Pretti shooting. Two things are 100% clear. 1.Both hands are on the ground from the entire time he was crouched. He never went for his gun. 2.The officer in grey removed his gun and a second later Pretti was repeatedly shot by the officer in olive jacket.

RFK Jr. appointee Kirk Milhoan has just clearly stated, out loud, that he wants to experiment on the people of the United States by seeing what happens as vaccination coverage plummets and infectious diseases spread.

This isn't a rival to the UN, because you can be sure that behind this is Trumps before stated vision of turning Gaza into a Riviera style "playground of the rich" where Palestinians will have little opportunity to govern and will simply be the cheep labour for constructing this vision.

I've only ever seen one Kelvin Helmholtz cloud with my own eyes, until today, when I spotted another! First picture (red skies) was in Toowoomba several years ago. Second is from today in Lismore.

Toilets don't need to be unsafe, for anyone. Individual unisex cubicles that open out to highly visible sink area, no place for predators to hide (of real or imagined variety)

This is disgusting. They screw wages down and destroy jobs through automation so they can maximise profits and build vast fortunes, but someone holding onto a working device while it still works is affecting work productivity? That's FCKN unhinged.

Oh look, it's the White Australia Policy

In retrospect, Albanese giving Sky the debate on paywall, just so that he can win the debate and make Murdoch media look like idiots as they back peddle, might have actually been a stroke of genius.

News Corp queries audience ‘independence’ after Albanese declared debate winner. News Corp’s top political minds declared Peter Dutton the clear winner of its paywalled leaders’ election debate despite the independently selected audience of 100 undecided voters favouring Anthony Albanese. #auspol

"Across the last 48 hours, “Signalgate” has morphed from one scandal into what I think is best thought of as five distinct overlapping scandals, as well as providing some fascinating political insight into who has power and how decisions get made in Trump II."

This is a shocking story but not even close to the most shocking thing to happen to detainees. The detention centres are privately run and have financial incentive to obstruct efforts by detainees or their friends and advocates to get them out even when they have been mistakenly detained.

"I was stuck in a freezing cell without explanation despite eventually having lawyers and media attention. Yet, compared with others, I was lucky." Canadian entrepreneur and actor Jasmine Mooney, who was detained in the US for two weeks, writes for the Guardian about her experience.
