every single successful general strike in US history has had union backing through the local AFL-CIO this is the first time it’s been called for since the 1940s

This shouldn’t be surprising. The only way to fight back is to… actually fight back. If Democrats want to improve their approval rating (or far more importantly, make actual change), we need real leadership to put up real resistance to authoritarianism. apnews.com/article/ap-p...

How do I tell Bluesky that in spite of my painted my nails and outspoken support of the queer community, I’m actually quite straight and not interested in thirst traps of dudes?

Neglected, not forgotten

Upon reflection, the past year has taught me that I’m the type of person who goes gray via their facial hair first.

Imagine your MAGA mom giving you unsolicited financial advice as you watch your retirement savings burn and the price of everything double 🙃

Not reposting to enter, just to say that this game is absolutely slept on and a steal at $8.49.

Think I’ll give Enshrouded a shot tonight. Have heard lots of positive things 🧙‍♂️

Ever so timely

Someone please explain to my cat why my waking up a couple hours early doesn’t necessarily mean he gets to eat early

Having friends means showing up for Aetherdrift draft

I can’t think of anything less sexy than supporting the GOP or being disengaged with politics in 2025

I need more of whatever this energy is in my life.

Oh cool, more atrocities done in our name 😞

How do I make my aging parents understand that Social Security is not untouchable and needs to be guarded? They will literally retire into poverty at the rate DOGE is going…

What’s getting lost in the discourse is that they were *perpetrating war crimes* AND recklessly communicating military actions on an unsecure channel. Y’all care a lot about the latter and not enough about the former.

Also, one of my buddies hooked me up with his dad’s card. Came in handy for a token! #AEW #WWE #wrestling #magic

Won two games of #EDH today, one with an unedited precon (Ms. Bumbleflower). My point is, life can be good.

Post a ship that’s not Star Wars or Star Trek

Getting Xenoblade Chronicles X: DE to emulate on my Steam Deck is my new white whale. Will I be getting a Switch physical copy tomorrow regardless? Yes, but I like the challenge.

Turns out chatting with new Magic buds via Discord throughout the work day is the shot in the arm my mental health has needed lately

There is nothing more sacred than hourly #cat sibling play fighting sessions

Everything she said plus Ubisoft is not going under. They’re a massive publisher that can easily absorb a string of mid AAA outings, which are still very profitable. People buy slop, we get more slop.

New Coheed & Cambria album heals all

I’m so tired of being told we’re lesser for being empathetic, justice-seeking, creative, weird, unwell, queer, non-religious, passionate, or simply not driven by profit or greed. Why should these traits become so undesired or undeserving of acceptance?

I don’t think most people appreciate how stressful being overweight/obese can be. I’m attending my beloved uncle’s funeral this morning and all I can think about is how little of my suitable wardrobe fits me.

Making pot brownies for the first time tonight because that’s the kind of week I’m already having

The Magic community is having difficulty with empathy too, it seems. I was hoping we were better…

History remembers the collaborators.

Here’s #FinalFantasy14 (non-Steam) running beautifully on Steam Deck. This is going to make work breaks so much more fun 🤩

For anyone wondering, swapping out the backplate on a Steam Deck is incredibly easy and satisfying

Sometimes a hot shower and tall glass of iced coffee is the best medicine for an ailing soul

Seattle police was just called on workers and allies who were participating in a peaceful sit-in; they're now removing everyone from the store. Shame on Starbucks! It's time to listen to union baristas and finalize fair contracts NOW - otherwise, we're ready to do what it takes! #ToBeAPartner

I’m at a stage in my life where actively observing work drama is more fulfilling than any purchasable entertainment.

No Universes Beyond hate, but this really underlines the “Fortnitification of #Magic” of it all

i am once again asking you to understand that national democrats are doing nothing because nothing is happening that they fundamentally disagree with

Imagine if all Congressional Dems backed up Al Green and were escorted out of the room. Now *that* would be a symbolic gesture with some weight.

the more you know...

Is it praxis to send my MAGA parents a dozen political TikTok vids a day? Don’t care, still doing it 🤷‍♂️
