So we're livestreaming an execution after botching one. Oh, a firing squad, which they haven't used in a long time. He is a paraplegic too? Awesome. Look, I was just as terrified when the shooter was doing his shooterific shit, but this is absolutely barbaric.

I am angry tonight. Because tonight ICE shot a New Yorker. They shot a New Yorker while his five year old child was in the car. ICE makes this city less safe. We want them out. Now.

it's 9/11/01. I was in Garnerville, NY. 3rd period AP English class. Summer reading was Zlata's Diary and writing about how I was glad we weren't at war. I saw the smoke over the Hudson as I walked home. We lost 3 firemen that day.

never forget the hell that republicans and rfk jr. have been putting 9/11 responders & survivors through.

usatoday.com25 years after 9/11, RFK Jr. is failing first responders | Opinion#NeverForget in 2026, under HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., keeps looking like intentional disrespect to a community whose needs keep growing.

CDC’s 9/11 world trade center health program was one of the first things this regime purged. just something to remember when republicans get really into the performative nationalism this week

this is a lesson learned directly from the kind of rural health research that rfk jr. has ended

Pennsylvania health workers confronting the country’s largest ongoing measles outbreak have been trying a behind-the-scenes strategy: administering vaccines around a family’s kitchen table, inside the privacy of their own home.

PA cases are being handled differently than TX and NM. This further erodes trust and will damage CDC’s relationship with state health departments

Kennedy and the CDC aren't yet counting the Pennsylvania deaths from measles -- a "highly unusual” move, @drdebhoury.bsky.social told me. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026...

I thought the broken ankle and 4 metatarsals was the stupidest injury ever but have 2 more contenders from the last few weeks: -sliced a small piece of my fingertip off cutting cheese - dropped my phone on my baby toe tending to the hydroponic machine

I don't care about anything FIFA related except hearing that the Australian fans in America started a chant that goes: 🎶Aussie boys we're on a bender, Donald Trump is a sex offender🎵 I shit you not, look it up.
