I don’t think government officials should say things that are both wildly racist as well as easily proven to the contrary.

It's really important to pay attention to the fact that Lula beat the fascist candidate not by compromising and trying to meet fascist voters in the middle, but by sticking to his guns, promising prosecutions for election interference, and mobilising his own voters to turn out in greater numbers.

Congrats to Lula on overcoming Mark Zuckerberg and Donald Trump to defeat Hospital Pervert Jr., even as his opposition literally blocked off roads and turned off bus service during election day. Fascists are scary but they are always, 100% of the time, ultimately gigantic fucking losers.

The thing I find most striking about this isn’t the dementia or the fact that he’s president, it’s the extent of his capacity for vitriol. The man is simply consumed with hate and pettiness like none before him. His brain should be studied.

Liberal democracy remains a towering achievement of humanity and it is worth fighting for.

The long-serving strongman leader of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, has conceded defeat in an election that pitted him and his right-wing party against a diverse student-led opposition movement that spent two years protesting his government.

Easily Freddie Krueger. Thinks he’s funny and is extremely not. And you can’t even fall asleep on the drive without him bothering you in your fuckin dreams man. Probably smelly, too.

Donald Trump is mind-blowingly terrible at politics and I will never stop marveling at the fact that nature had to roll like six consecutive nat 1s for this chud to be president and it actually happened.

This is not a good guy!

Trump: "Why do we always have to take people from shit house countries? We can't we take people from Norway and Sweden and Denmark? By the way, Denmark gave us Greenland ... what do you take, Venezuela or Greenland? We got them both!"

What the fuck is going on

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump: "You know, the first question -- they have a lion, a snake, a giraffe, and a bear. And they say 'which is the snake?' ... by the time you get to number five a lot of people are left out on the road ... I get no credit for it."

Now is the time of monsters.

JD Vance makes a recommendation on who to vote for in the midterms: "Vote for the people who have solutions to lower the cost of gas, don't vote for the people who made the problem to begin with."

Things are going to come out that truly challenge the structural integrity of the Spin Machine. They are already putting more stress on it than it’s meant to handle.

Schooley@schooley.bsky.social

I do think after the midterms there’s going to be a lot fewer people making excuses for Trump’s aberrant behavior because the real stories will start to come out and nobody wants to be the last one covering for him.

Funny how atheists/agnostics are apparently more empathetic than any one religious group. Fucking interesting, that is.

So "wedgewood polls" which released a number of polls, most recently of Mississippi, was fake. And the people behind it are now bragging abt it. If these are really industry vets they shld be identified and blackballed forever. This is like GOP freaks who commit vote fraud to show how easy it is.
