Last day of being the only available tech in the area, my coworker gets back from vacation on Monday. While I like working for a small company there are definitely some downsides.

Saw the new #Spider-man movie. Very solid, I enjoyed Spidey and the Punisher's interactions. They had me guessing what direction they were going. At some points it felt like the Man-Spider arc, others felt like they were moving to The Other storyline.

Spent today playing Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and starting a new playthrough of Pokémon Violet. While Violet is sluggish and has a lot of camera angle issues the quality of life upgrades compared to even a remake of the older games are fantastic.

Seeing a lot of skeeting about how anyone who didn't think #Supergirl was the best film in history is a misogynist. It was okay. There were plot holes big enough to drive a space truck through, the villain was pointlessly over the top evil, and the pacing wasnt great. Fun to watch, not high cinema.

The #Supergirl movie was okay. It was very heavy on plot devices. Villain was completely unmemorable, I've already forgotten his name and I just left the theater. Even Jason Momoa as Lobo was pretty mediocre, which seemed like a dead ringer from a casting perspective. Maybe 6 out of 10.

Family. Can't live with them, can't throw them off a bridge when they drop drama on your door.
