every single reporting of this new feature is extremely obnoxious because its fearmongering about a highly requested feature that stems from discussions surrounding troubleshooting and whatnot becoming relegated to closed off discord servers instead of public forums and discussion boards.

As fanfest jp gets closer, I'm getting anxious about evolved mode again. I really don't do well with more reactionary battle systems. Hell, I don't do well with *many* battle systems at all, I'm terrible at games. XIV is one of the few games that actually clicked with me. Anxiety sucks.

Its a HUGE skill issue moment on my part but man, I'm just scared to lose the one thing I get on with. And I know Reborn mode will exist, but it'll still have to *somewhat* change, and how long will it exist for? New classes won't even have it. I'm scared of being pushed away.

We went back and defeated Athena because our static and most of our FC never got to. Have this totally legitimate screenshot of the defeat scene :) #ffxiv

If anyone finds the accounts of any of these people on Bluesky, please privately let me know so I can remove them from the XIV and After Dark feed. These people do not belong in our community.

TW: CSAM and IRL pedophilia, child abuse / exploitation / trauma a clearer summary re: the news about individuals in the xiv community who distributed CSAM. i hope this and the list of the offenders helps folks who want to protect themselves without reading more potentially triggering material.

This is very weird timing considering the Twitch Unicorn drop had us talking about this today...

Nothing like someone being an utter twat to you in a duty to make you never want to play a class again. Fuck healing, I'm never touching that shit again.

The post going around about Estinien being mean to start with... I'm a DRG main, I didn't forget. I just happen to like edgy suicidal dick heads as much as the gentle loyal idiot sillyman that he became. Im sorry, it's me, I'm the one that loves the broody anime nastyman 😭

I saw a rare reasonable post on twitter that explains the difference between FFXIV drawing inspiration from something and a collab this also isn't saying the latter is like, bad, but I do think trying to say both of these are the same is a little silly

Lune
@thatmiqo.lune.monster

I know I've had a few bad things to say about Fanfest but honestly, it was just the venue (and the slot raffles were really unfair 😭) Fanfest itself was amazing, the staff were absolutely great and were amazing at accommodating people with disabilities. A lot of fun was had. πŸ’™ #ffxivFanfest

hi #ffxiv community team i know you look at the tags so. i am giving you some feedback. if you're going to put the accessible seating for a concert behind the standing area, it needs to be raised. the entire accessible block can not see the stage at all. #FFXIVFanfest #FFXIVFANFESTBERLIN

Lune
@thatmiqo.lune.monster

@en.finalfantasyxiv.com please do not return to this venue for Fanfest. It's so badly equipped for this kind of event.

Lune@thatmiqo.lune.monster

What an amazing view for the *front row* of the accessibility seats. /s. Actually feels like we've just been shoved off to the side. London actually put accessibility near the stage. :|

Lune
@thatmiqo.lune.monster

There's someone here that's been genuinely in tears the entire time because they feel robbed of the concert just for not being able to stand. I feel for them, I've at least seen Primals twice but its genuinely the highlight and so many accessible needs people ended up standing.

Lune
@thatmiqo.lune.monster

This is my third Fanfest, and by far the worst venue. The showrunners and staff have been amazing, they're doing what they can but this venue is just not good for this.
