Pretty sure if you go to The Phoenix by mistake on Monday you will end up at a stranger's party. DON'T DO THAT. Come to The Albany, where we'll be, grinning over seeing Robin Ince's Book Club 9 million times in there, and all our own previous gigs in that very space too.

We had a lovely Fringe! We have many pictures to prove exactly that over on our Instagram www.instagram.com/theacms/! We remain FLIPPING DELIGHTED to play to an audience who will watch eg Camilla Borges eat her own delicious baby, and heckle with a Swiftian "it's a Modest Proposal!" at 2am!

And hat-tip everyone who won an Award on Sunday night, and now gets to explain exactly why eg POSTER MOST LIKELY TO INCITE A WAR CRIME - hat-tip @adamlarter.bsky.social! - is on their CV. And adding to this no, I do not want the Fringe to stop. I do not want it to move to England. The solution is not simply to abandon the biggest (and yes, despite everything, best) arts festival in the world. If you love something, you try and fix it.

All good points but I think we should also be talking about the big venues and Edinburgh uni making fat stacks whilst underpaying their staff not to mention Fringe society exec dir getting £100k per year whilst we lowly comics must pay £300-400 just to be in the brochure
