I've plateued on IG for years now and seemed to have halted entirely this year, actually Rattober has resulted in a hard stop. It does take effort to move past the numbers...but like, it makes enjoying things hard too, I want to be honest with myself about that.

Planning to make Rattober a final wrap-up before moving away from IG. I've connected with SO many people, so considering this is painful, but the longer things go on, and change, and 100 additional reasons, I'm feeling I might be ready to move past it and not rely on it. It's time to be brave!!!

Not only that, but I've begun to worry that all the Rattober post sharing spam causes people to look through them a lot less. I know that fun > social media exposure, but I feel bad that attempts to put more eyes on people's work seem to whiff.

#rattober day 11 - water rat !! I suck at pea fishing, I can't really get them. Whenever I feel like I get a grasp, they either fall or get snatched from my hands. Even so, I still have a lot of fun because I get to play in the water #rattober2026 #beansrattober

#rattober day 10 - inkwell rat !! I'd say my speciality is signing papers. My signature is pretty and I sign every paper more than 10 times! Cannonball said I should get into writing but I don't know what that is #rattober2026 #beansrattober

#rattober day 1 - spotty rat !! Happy rattober to those who celebrate!! I haven't drawn anything in a while, so I thought that participating in rattober would give me some motivation. So here's my first drawing for the month! This rat sure looks proud of their spots :D #rattober2026 #beansrattober
