UNFUN FACT: The 2026 FIFA World Cup features 48 teams co-hosted by the US, Canada, and Mexico. Of the 48 participating nations, the United States is the only one without a universal health care system.

This junk is of a piece with the "But is he working class?" shtick NYT was just slinging at Platner. Errand-running for MAGA whether they're honest with themselves about it or not. #MEpolitics

Ken Paxton is historically corrupt, John Cornyn is a MAGA traffic cone, and Talarico might be a SECRET VEGETARIAN WITH MID TACO ORDERS. Which one has the best case to be elected to the Senate? WHO CAN SAY?

Orbán's attempt failed because Hungary's opposition politicians and independent press named in advance what Orbán was likely to try. That put the Hungarian public on notice not to accept official explanations of purported terror plots. 2/4

That’s precisely what we need from America’s politicians, independent media, and anyone else with a platform. Start talking about this now! We can't be on our back foot when Trump exploits, incites, or engineers terror and then uses that as a pretext to further subvert democracy. 3/4

The trend was visible in my little, fairly purple Maine town where the progressive position on two ballot initiatives outperformed last year’s Harris ticket by 10% (voter suppression) and 6% (gun safety) respectively.

This is quite a hed/subhed. 1) Start with Vance. Use strong action verb. Accept the autocratic premise that the “Marines’ Might” are Vance’s to flex. 2) Mention the protest second and absurdly describe them as in the thousands 3) Treat Trump’s strong man use of the military as a partisan scuffle.

GOP talking points are always bonkers madlibs: "Mills is 'going to have to be held accountable for her record in Maine.'" Um, okay. In a pandemic followed by a totalitarian capture of the federal government, she created some of the most sustained growth and prosperity in Maine's history.

bangordailynews.comJanet Mills is still holding up the Democratic campaign against Susan CollinsAt 77, Mills is five years older than Collins but remains Maine’s only Democrat with a proven record of winning statewide elections.

And here we are.

🚨A U.S. born citizen was arrested in Florida for entering the state as an “unauthorized alien.” His mother and a community advocate showed his birth certificate during a hearing in Leon County. The judge said she had no authority to release him.

Thanks to the evil f*ckfaces now managing our public health system, I had to get a measles shot for the first time since about 1968. Bonus: because of where my doc’s measles vaccines are stored, I had a school bus themed exam table and a Dr. Seuss quote on the wall.

Sec. Rollins claimed freezing USDA funding to Maine would "not impact federal feeding programs or direct assistance to Mainers; if a child was fed today, they will be fed tomorrow." My office learned tonight that's not the case. USDA froze the funds to administer child nutrition programs in Maine.

The millionaire cowards at #PaulWeiss and #SkaddenArps could learn a few things about standing up for the rule of law from the Maine Principals’ Association and the school board members of MSAD 51. Thank you!

pressherald.comMaine officials refuse to sign Trump agreement on transgender athletesThe Maine Principals' Association and Greely High School said it would violate Maine law for them to sign the agreement requiring the barring of transgender athletes.

GOP campaigning: We need a laser-like focus on the affordability crisis. Dems are out of touch with their identity politics. GOP governing: Let’s make life more expensive for working families. And while we’re at it, let’s target trans kids.

You are up to date.
