Thank you to my good friend Ms. Rachel for speaking out for the future of her home state and her gracious support across this campaign. We're proud to have such an incredible Mainer standing in solidarity with us.

To add to this, make robo-calling and texting illegal except for pollsters X (100?) days before an election. There is literally nobody on either side of the aisle that benefits from mass spam hitting our phones at all hours.

A was pessimistic on the Jazz this season post-Kessler trade, but one area I should have been even more pessimistic about was turnovers. It will get better (can't get worse) but the George/Peterson/Collier backcourt has to get better in that department or it doesn't matter what else they do.

the factor that makes Utah's turnovers problem appear worse than it is: they can't really pull in Jaren or a wing to make it go away. For all Jaren's strengths, he isn't a passer. He's a guy who can get an ISO shot with spacing that is worth over a point per shot.

this is sort of like the Jaren foul issue early in his career. Turnovers and fouling improve as players mature; but the level you start at, and improve from, matters a lot too. Early massive turnover trouble prob means a durable problem 3-4 years from now too.

(the Jazz, obviously, still have a ton of talent and will be good. One of my random predictions was that the Jazz would trade for Neiderhauser or a similar big this season just to stabilize their group)

Cam Spencer was the first guard off the bench and he took one shot (a made 3) in almost 6 mins of play. In fairness the Grizz played in transition a good amount during that time with Coward pushing the issue.

ORL really dodged a bullet, but 2 weeks without two starters is pretty rough for a team that wanted to be a top 4 seed.

Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs has been diagnosed with a mild bone bruise in his right knee and will be re-evaluated in two weeks, sources tell ESPN. Suggs avoided any other major structural damage.

The NBA has reached deals with Kalshi and Polymarket to make them the league's preferred prediction markets partners. The companies can now use NBA IP on their platforms, while the NBA gets right of approval on markets that they offer. That and more: www.nytimes.com/athletic/772...

Yes, the Kings are held hostage by two shoot first guards and a big who can’t defend the rim. But they’d benefit a lot from getting a coach in once Lavine is gone who can implement a real system. There’s no plan beyond “you two make plays after calling for a pick.”

I guess this is another way of saying, SAC can pickup a lot of wins by letting Lavine expire, trading Sabonis, brining in a new coach, and keeping a top 10 pick in a bad draft.

7 points from Man U, {relegated team}, and Chelsea away, with Palace, Leeds, Ipswich, Sunderland the next 4. Real chance in the next few matches to solidify the club back in the mid table.
