The “Breathing the Mind” symposium gave me plenty to think about! How breathing shapes brain activity, emotions, and heart–brain communication, and how virtual nature can slow breathing and reduce negative mood. So many connections to explore! #SPR2026 @therealspr.bsky.social

I am so excited to see conversations about improving psychophysiological methods in autism science at @therealspr.bsky.social !! it's important that our understanding of psychophys addresses the wide spectrum of variability. Nice job @kaydenstockwell.bsky.social putting together this symposium!!
Really important discussion on accessible psychophysiology in autism + designing studies not only with autistic participants in mind, but part of the conversations. Key takeaway: if our protocols only work for a narrow range of individuals with autism, the conclusions we draw will be narrow as well.
