Sensible authoritarianism. But, at what cost? Millions of Uyghurs, Kazakhs, and other Muslim minorities brutally oppressed, w/many in concentration camps or murdered. Tibetans under strict religious controls. Democracy advocates imprisoned. FAR from perfect.

If anyone should be compensated for the government attacking with malicious intent, with trying to destroy their life, it's this man: A federal judge in Tennessee on Friday dismissed criminal charges against Kilmar Abrego García, an immigrant who was wrongfully deported to El Salvador.
