I've just taken out a boiler / central heating cover plan, and now they want me to review them on Trust Pilot? What am I going to say - "Yes, they took my money this morning"?

I am a massive fan of the BBC series Ghosts, and I have a grudging respect for the US version. I just watched the first episode of the Australian version, it's terrible. How they could make such a mess of the hospital scene I really don't know. It was written for them, just act it!

Languages make the world a richer place, they are our heritage. Just because someone is capable of understanding English, that's no reason why they shouldn't have access to health-care, news and legal representation in Scots or Gaelic if that is their first language.

We are talking about friendship and money in Money Box Live next week. Keen to hear your stories - maybe you lent money to a friend, how did it go? Maybe you earn more or less than a friend and it causes pressure? Maybe a friend gives money advice and you don’t/like it. Felicity.hannah@bbc.co.uk

Stamp collecting is a funny game. These Princess Diana stamps from 1997 were in an antique and curiosity store for £1.50. Their face value might be just £1.30, but you would imagine a collector would happily pay a fiver for a mint condition set.

@theipaper.com In your article on Internet-only TVs (inews.co.uk/news/online-...) surely all Freely need to do is add a "simple mode" to their TVs, like "Easy mode" on a Samsung Galaxy, rather than the Doro idea of "different hardware for Gran". A basic simplified remote would be required.

My wife preached at a local church yesterday. There's a Baptist tradition that if a visiting preacher refuses payment, then they will be offered a small gift instead. Yesterday we were pleased to accept home-grown Logan Berries and a cucumber. I call that winning.

Were you given flowers for Valentine's Day, or did you buy some for someone? How are they doing? These are the ones I bought for Catherine, still in full-flower. Not a bad buy!

This sounds like an amazing opportunity!

We’re appointing a writer-in-residence! Join us to respond to our holdings related to the Bloomsbury Group (including the archives of Leonard and Virginia Woolf’s Hogarth Press) ahead of a major exhibition in 2027. Applications close 19 May. Best of luck! collections.reading.ac.uk/news-and-vie...

@felicityhannah.bsky.social Morning Felicity. Did you know that with Saga Car Insurance, if you don't want their renewal offer, you have to phone or chat to an AI bot. I only found this out by Googling it. There is no option within the account to say "no, thank you". They seem to make it hard.

2 minutes ago, while eating a KitKat after lunch, my wife said "we could go to Wokingham Theatre tonight, their doing Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf". Tickets are now booked and I'm looking forward to a great evening out.

“Farage rarely turns up to do his actual job. Yet he finds time to jet off around the world on his donor’s private plane and trouser half a million quid while families struggle. Reform are not on your side. They’re just in it for themselves” It’s so obvious, it hurts. www.desmog.com/2026/04/18/n...

I love that Radio Caroline decide to play a Kate Bush song, and they choose "The Dreaming". Every other station is doing "Running Up That Hill" or "Army Dreamers"
