My cousin’s shirt took me a second. He said “it’s great because anyone who would be offended by it couldn’t understand it anyway.”

In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, authorities say the number of confirmed Ebola cases is now more than 1,000, with at least 254 deaths. The virus has now spread to a third displacement camp in the east of the country, killing an 18-month-old girl.

Well reasoned article, policy has to be abandoned and new HHS secretary needs to take over

Trump supporters are so deluded. Me: “how can you support as a law and order president when he pardoned all the J6 rioters, terrorists and cop beaters. Family member: “that wasn’t Trump, Biden pardoned all those folks”

Hello. The president's continued insistence that the BLS numbers are rigged, political, or otherwise manipulated is a lie. Please stop saying 'baseless claim.' Thank you.

This is great! We need more of this

If anyone was serious about finding the Epstein files, they should look in the same place the GOP buried their integrity, honor, and loyalty to the Constitution. Who knows, they may even find their balls in there. #NotMyAmerica

This is so true!

I keep telling people if want to know how this Supreme Court will rule you don't need to be a lawyer nor a legal expert. Just look at the GOP position on an issue. That is how they will rule. Today's Supreme Court is simply part of the GOP political apparatus.

Little Taj with new babies. Three girls, one boy. All Siamese like mom! Interesting story about Siamese coat. Due to temperature sensitive allele of tyrosinase, inactive enzyme=lighter color, lower melanin. Cool body areas (ears & face) lose body heat faster-enzyme is more active so more melanin.

The proposed 45% cut to the NIH by the current administration will preclude new awards, and even terminate (more) existing awards. This means a catastrophic decline in the development of new treatments for cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and infectious diseases How is that good for the US?

If thousands of scientists say that political interference with grants assessment is going to destroy the scientific integrity of federal grants, the agency will have to explain why the rule doesn’t do that (which it can’t because this is precisely why the new regulation is being instituted). 11/n

Language that is most worrying is: Substantive participation and discretionary authority in agency grantmaking, such as the substantive exercise of discretion in the drafting of funding opportunity announcements, evaluation of grant applications, or recommending or selecting grant recipients. 4/n
