People have been asking me when Amazon and B&N will have Crystal Lake for sale. Soon I hope. For some reason, it takes them a while to get A24 books up on their sites. The same thing happened with the X-Trilogy novels. You can order the book at the A24 site, though.

Since the Crystal Lake TV series take place in the early 70s, I was tempted to hint at a connection between Jason, Michael Myers, Carrie, and Leatherface in the novelization (for reasons). I resisted, but it wasn't easy!

After I got the gig to write the novelization of Crystal Lake, my wife Christine bought a bottle of Friday the 13th wine to celebrate. We saved it for when the book came out, and last night we opened it!

Want to read the harrowing tale of how I wrote the Crystal Lake novelization? Read my latest blog post, "Thank God It's Friday (the 13th)!" Link in the first comment.

“I knew [Tim] could translate Pam Voorhees’ chaotic thoughts and complex psychology in new, intriguing ways, ones that might be more clarifying and revealing than we could ever communicate on screen. And boy, has he ever.” – Brad Caleb Kane, series creator, Crystal Lake Out Oct. 15th.

This is the first thing I bought after signing the contract to write the Crystal Lake novelization. I've written novels about all three of these bad boys! (Now if I can find a mug that has Art on it, too...)

People have been asking where they can order the Crystal Lake novelization. It'll be available at the A24 site as well as Amazon and B&N. I'll share links as soon as they're available. In the meantime, here's an actual picture of me writing the book.
