BREAKING A federal judge has ordered the Kennedy Center to remove President Trump's name from the facade, website, letterhead, and official materials. Congress named the Center by statute in 1964 - and the judge ruled only Congress can change it.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Claudette Colvin, whose refusal to move seats on a segregated bus helped spark the civil rights movement, dies at 86.

Disgust doesn't describe my feeling.

President began demolishing the East Wing of the WH to build there his $200M+ ballroom. East Wing was built in 1942 during the presidency of FDR. It was constructed to cover the bunker that he used during WWII and the President's Emergency Operations Center.

Dude in the WH is threatening not to pay feral workers after the shutdown ends even though it is the law. I hope elected officials don't let these childish tactics bully them. #HoldTheLine

Hey furloughed fed friends, Stop feeling GUILTY. It’s not your fault the work isn’t getting done. You didn’t ask to be at home or warming an office chair. This colossal waste is not your fault. Don’t feel bad for someone else’s mistakes. Unplug if you can. Rest. Take care of yourselves 💚🫂

So…let me see if I have this right. The federal government is gonna shut down in 30hrs, and the party that controls the ENTIRE federal government is trying to blame the party that controls NONE of the federal government for the looming shutdown?

We have learned that the “official CDC account” on X has been live posting disinformation during ACIP. No one should get information from X. In fact, no one should go there. Nothing RFKJ’s clowns say should be taken at face value.

We need landline phones again. Not the new age ones that connect via fiber-optic cables but only work with cable, towers, or internet. I'm talking about the good, study, and reliable landlines that only stopped working when a pole with down.

We shouldn't need a Black Women’s Equal Pay Day, but here we are. Still underpaid. Still undervalued. 66 cents on the dollar means we lose thousands every year, for doing the same job. Over a lifetime? That’s hundreds of thousands gone. Pay Black women. Period.

Juneteenth is a powerful reminder of how far we’ve come—and how much further we still have to go. It marks the moment freedom finally reached our people right here in Texas. Our people took what was withheld and built something powerful: resilience, pride, and a legacy we carry to this day. (1/2)

On Juneteenth, we celebrate freedom and recommit ourselves to the work that remains undone. We remember that even in the darkest hours, there is cause to hope for tomorrow’s light.

Here's something everybody should be paying attention to: Congressional Republicans are trying to weaken the Affordable Care Act and put millions of people at risk of losing their health care. Call your Senators and tell them we can't let that happen.

washingtonpost.comShhh. Republicans are trying to repeal Obamacare again. Sort of.They’re not branding it an Obamacare repeal this time around, but congressional Republicans are pursuing cuts to programs that are part of the 15-year-old health-care law.

They sent children away for being hyper and different, but now the conditions have names. Didn't he intern at a school for exceptional children as a youth, but I guess it's all a blur.

🧵 THREAD: A federal whistleblower just dropped one of the most disturbing cybersecurity disclosures I’ve ever read. He's saying DOGE came in, data went out, and Russians started attempting logins with new valid DOGE passwords Media's coverage wasn't detailed enough so I dug into his testimony:

This is blood-boiling. Charles Rogers was awarded the Medal of Honor in Vietnam after being wounded three times leading the defense of a position. Google his name and the entry below comes up. When you click, you'll see the page has been deleted and the URL changed to include "DEI medal."

Today, we honor the bravery and sacrifice of those who, 60 years ago, marched across the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama, risking everything for the right to vote and the promise of true freedom. Their courage paved the way, and it’s on us to keep pushing forward.

Green: I will suffer whatever the consequences are because I don't believe in the richest country in the world people should be without good health care. I stood up for my constituents then. I'm standing up for them now. I would do it again.
