The discussion needs to be had as to why Olivia Rodrigo is the best pop star to come out of this decade so far. Not even for her music alone, but for the artists she collabs with, does covers of, and puts on.

If you’re looking for an album that simply radiates with joy, check this out. A Brandi Carlile & Elton John record was not on my radar at all, but I’d be damned if this isn’t a fun listen.

What is most refreshing about the new Skrillex album is that you’re literally forced to listen to it as an album was intended to be listened to: from front to back. Otherwise, you won’t really get anything out of it.

I am by no means a conspiracy theorist, but I am genuinely curious how Susan Crawford won so handily in Wisconsin by almost 200,000 votes, just 5 months after Trump won by a little more of 30,000 votes. Could be a case of different turnout levels, but still, it is interesting.

Adrien Brody’s acting in “The Thin Red Line” is a masterclass. The man hardly says a word the whole movie, yet his expressions say so much more than words ever could.

My favorite YouTubers right now (and the topics they broadly cover): 1. Sean Munger (long-form history) 2. Secular Talk (politics) 3. Mic The Snare (music) 4. Adventure Archives (hiking) 5. Vaush (politics) 6. Aidin Robbins (ecological science)

I’m fishing across the Chesapeake Bay from the Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland right now, and it could just be my imagination, but it’s more active over there than I can ever remember, judging by the “BOOM”s every 5 minutes.

If Dems ever get power again - assuming free and fair elections (big assumption) - they will never again have the excuse of “we can’t pass laws through congress and the president is powerless.” Presidency is now a king level position capable of law by EO alone apparently.

The fact that the people who watched the first season of Severance when it originally aired had the ability to wait for a full 2 1/2 years for the next season to arrive is a testament to human patience. Season 1’s finale is simply bananas.

“I Said I Love You First” might just be Selena Gomez’ best album so far, solely in terms of how cohesive the record sounds. It doesn’t sound like Jello being thrown at the wall to see what sticks.

If I see one more headline about how Republican senators & reps are “concerned” about something Trump or Elon is doing, I will fucking scream. They might be concerned, but are they doing anything about that concern? No, because they (and most Dems) are a bunch of cowards.

These are the senators who collaborated with the GOP. Schumer Fetterman Cortez Masto Durbin King Shaheen Gillibrand Schatz Hassan Peters Don’t let them forget it. No peace for them.

CALL YOUR SENATORS! I just called one of mine: Angela Alsobrooks. I didn’t vote for her in November to watch her potentially cave in to the fascist dickwads 3 months in to her term: I voted for her so she could FIGHT BACK.

If any one part of the current Trump administration is trickling down to the normies who aren’t very political, it’s the DOGE cuts. I’ve had coworkers, who are by no means leftists or liberals, talking about it negatively. I’ve even had customers randomly bring it up, and bitch about it.

There is a real, genuine 1st Amendment crisis in the United States right now. The government is openly retaliating against anyone with a viewpoint it doesn't like: Pro-Palestinian protesters, law schools teaching Black History, pro-immigration public service loan forgiveness seekers.

Whilst not perfect, “The Gorge” is a great film for a movie night or the like. It can be a little formulaic at times, but not “Netflix Original” formulaic, which is nice. Miles Teller isn’t as charismatic as I thought he might be, but Anna Taylor-Joy kills her role (per usual). Overall, not bad. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s a shame that Marilyn Monroe is more known today for her looks than for her filmography, because every movie I’ve seen so far with her in it has been decent to really good, “Niagara” being in the latter category. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
