When versioning... do you make all the changes and afterwards bump the version so it is: - Version Bump - add: ... - feat: ... - add: ... or do you make the version bump and afterwards do the changes for said version: - add: ... - feat: ... - add: ... - Version Bump ("displayed" is commit history

I know it shouldn't be done, but I am kinda thinking about a TS package to generate nix configs... so you can write your NixOS Config in Typescript... (the only reason is that I don't quite understand the Nix language tbh)

Are there any "Typescript without JS knowledge" videos, in a way that they treat TS as the whole language and describe the Syntax of the language without the focus on the type system. because I think often you only write JS and a Object type here and there...

Early prototype of split view groups. We are starting to experiment with groups so we can later add fully fledged folders! (early prototype!)

I've created a Nix-devshell, which: - opens port 3030 - starts the dev server And after i close the dev server: - closes port 3030 - closes the dev shell I am actually pretty proud of the DX i achieved there

I hacked together my own Portal implementation in React which supports passing up context over said portal. I am actually quite proud of the implementation (even dough it is quite simple)

In the near future I'll merge my 5000 lines branch with a sqash commit... this branch got way out of hand and i don't know how to stop it so i am just gonna sqash commit it all

I think today was somewhat a break-trough with my NixOS config. I feel like i could now actually use this OS for some daily tasks (coding)

I just added the unstable nixpkgs branch to my inputs, so i can now use pkgs.{package} or unstable.{package} to install something... I am actually really proud of this achievement because i did it mainly on my own...

Does anyboady have experience with custom fonts inside react native svgs? I tried using expo-font to load the font and this works (normal <Text> components can display them, however with react-native-svg <Text> it does not work...

ngl, I can see but having an Alt-Text makes it so much easier understanding a post (with an image), because you know which part of the image is the important one.

I am currently writing a neovim plugin which depends on a UI libary (nui.nvim)... and yeah, I have written a script that downloads the libary into the current path as a "Dev dependency", so I can have type checks for said dependency while developing...

TIL: run TypeScript natively in the browser, today 🤯 This polyfill supports TypeScript type stripping (TC39 Type Annotations proposal, stage 1) This Vue example doesn't need any build tool to run

Announcing ES Module Shims 2.0. The latest version of what started out as an import maps polyfill now supports production polyfilling of more than 8 existing and upcoming native browser modules features 🧵

I feel like I will start to love nvim even more in the future... I plan to integrate a remarkable thightly into my notes workflow (with nvim), and I feel nvim gives me the power to write the custom ui, shortcuts, file edits etc. with ease... (But we will see how it goes, I am hyped)

Is it just me, or is github search fundamentaly broken? Every time I search for an repository on github, i just can not find it. I mean i searched for "zen desktop" hoping for the zen desktop browser repository... what is this?

Today I actually wrote typescript. and with typescript I mean: hackt together a functions that takes one complex input and derives the other arguments from that automatically and even puts together a nice return type. so now I can go back to writing basically JavaScript and be happy about the types
