Some fun facts: At some point, when searching for duck pictures to use, I found a bunch of ducklings dressed up in cute little costumes. Their existence directly resulted in several of these. @sergeant-shadwell.bsky.social, you might be interested in one such example 👀

Also, my #DuckOmens folder on my computer is set to display the pictures in chronological order, which means that the file names "witch duck" and "this duck" have been sitting next to each other since July, much to my pun-loving brain's amusement.

Potential Future Boss asked me for one new thing in the past year that "filled me with joy" or "made me glow." I told her I started making memes. She reacted like that was the COOLEST THING EVER, and I ended up showing her some of my Duck Omens. Probably a good sign, right? 🤞🤞🦆

Feed is doing its thing and I love it.

Executive dysfunction be like Me: I'm hungry. I should eat. Brain: Eh. Me: ...eat? Brain: nah. Me: But I'm hungry. Brain: yes. Me: Therefore eat. Brain: no. Me: ...okay... what DO I do? Brain: oh no, you can't do anything until you eat. Me: ... so... eat! Brain: no.

Good news! I have eaten! Now I just need to convince my brain to let me do, uh... everything else that needs to happen today. 😅

And then (apparently) I post about it here and continue to not eat. Or do anything else.

I finally finished my Good Omens/Muppets crossover fic! An angel and a demon walk into The Muppet Theater. Comedy ensues. There Was Only One Box Rated G. 19k words. archiveofourown.org/works/76124811

So my mom just got home from grocery shopping and is taking a million things out of bags and putting them away. In the midst of this, I was also in the kitchen, making coffee and putting protein powder in it and calling it a meal (because that's what I do).

I am absolutely *certain* that I just put *something* away in the pantry, and I certainly *thought* it was the protein powder... So I stand there, looking back and forth between the protein powder and the closed pantry door. Mom: It's a new one. Me: <HUGE relieved sigh> Okay GOOD 😅

Fellow neurodivergent memory glitchers: you get it. It's that thing when you can't remember if you took your pill or not, except worse, because I was SURE I did the thing, but I was staring at evidence that I had NOT done the thing! Hilarious in hindsight, but I don't recommend that experience 😅

I put protein powder in the coffee, put the lid on the protein powder, and put it away in the pantry. I then turn around to go back to my coffee. There's a thing of protein powder on the counter. EXACTLY where I had the protein powder when I was using it.

I dabbled in some animal rescue yesterday. I really thought this chipmunk was dead bc it was just lying there. Then it moved, and I saw its foot was caught in the clip thing. Took a bit for it to move again once I released it, but it did! Second video coming

Little buddy made it all the way under that bush before I lost sight of it. Definitely not as fast or agile as an uninjured chipmunk, but it might be able to recover. I have no idea where the clip thing came from.
