Hot take? Artificial Intelligence technology could have been a boon to humanity (cancer research, astrophysics, etc), but the most awful people have chosen to do the most awful things (Gen AI/LLMs) with it, by the most awful means (datcenters), so here we are.

I suppose this is just what happens when companies let AI do their thinking and hiring for them.
