Importing over from Twitter this shirt my wife made for our kids. It was made for my daughter when she was one year old. She's grown out of it, but it now fits my one year old son.

the mainstream democrats do not want the republicans to face any consequences because they are on the same team, they are the same people, they are friends and colleages. their job is to occupy the positions of people who could actually oppose the republicans & make sure that never happens

Kamala Harris: I think that going in the direction of impeachment is not a good idea. I was in the Senate for the last go-round, and the votes aren’t there. I think after the election, we all have to just also agree that our attitude has to be to get stuff done…

Bro, what? Is anyone healthy?

Politico wrote up Zohran playing basketball with the uncovering-a-big-scandal tone the same day the NYTimes wrote up "credible allegation that The President of the United States raped a woman" as a political strategy story. Broken media in a nutshell

Man, that's brutal. Both on the same night this early in the season. And for a team that probably has a ticking clock before they'll have to be broken up for financial reasons too.

BREAKING: Oklahoma City's Jalen Williams has a dislocated left ankle and fractured fibula; Cason Wallace has a torn labrum in his left shoulder. Both will undergo surgery and be sidelined for several months -- most, if not the entire season.

Whole lot of teams we assumed would be dominant for years in this league that haven't worked out that way recently.

Hell, the last time we proclaimed that a team would dominate the league for years, they hadn't even won a title yet, and in fact still haven't.

It's amazing how easy it is to spot who the people are who have outsourced all their critical thinking to a machine.

There are, let's say, certain qualities almost universally shared by vocal AI proponents and none of them are positive.

We’ve officially entered post-wokeism. Not utilizing tech billionaires’ earth-killing plagiarism machine is privileged, elitist, and dare I say, maybe even ableist(?) Please adjust your behavior accordingly.

When did the downslide of everything getting incrementally worse, little by little, start, exactly? Because that's pretty much the trend with most things I care about.

The NBA has reached deals with Kalshi and Polymarket to make them the league's preferred prediction markets partners. The companies can now use NBA IP on their platforms, while the NBA gets right of approval on markets that they offer. That and more: www.nytimes.com/athletic/772...

Still can't get over what a wild turn it would be for this Giants season if JJ McCarthy is actually good.

It is weird how disjointed the Knicks have been to start the year after how they looked in the playoffs. It feels like when the focus and rhythm isn't fully there, their natural tendencies lead to bad offensive process. Sometimes they get lost and have to find that flow again.

If the Knicks do in fact have a slow start to this season, I'm going to blame it on some sort of Polymarket curse.

Saudi Arabia (majority stake) and Jared Kushner (minority stake) buying Electronic Arts is one of the underrated instances of oligarchic media consolidation. Should be considered along similar lines as the Ellisons taking over Warner Bros.-Discovery or Musk taking over Twitter.

I still can't believe the Knicks aren't selling those gold jerseys. I would have bought one instantly.

Knicks played pretty poorly tonight and were right there. They'll look better once we get further into the season. Do yourself a favor and don't get too stressed about individual regular season games. We'll be right when it matters.

Don't love the Knicks looking like they're still in off season mode, even if it's not totally unexpected.

Is there an easy way to watch the MSG pregame out of market? Or am I not likely to miss much with the NBC pregame?
