🏈 𝘎𝘳𝘰𝘸 𝘜𝘱, 𝘋𝘶𝘥𝘦 was released in 2012 to scene acclaim w emphasis on clean, clever guitar writing & heart-on-the-sleeve vocals to be sung alongside devoted crowds in hot & humid basements. A critical work in the revival canon and essential rubric against which much of the 2010s emo would be measured.

21 Aug

⏱️ In 2014, sophomore LP 𝘒𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘋𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘠𝘰𝘶’𝘳𝘦 𝘋𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 shot You Blew It! into the spotlight w tighter production & songwriting that still retained signs of past work. They leaned into impassioned vocal performances & a cleaner sound that resulted in bigger, anthemic songs still close to its DIY roots.
