I think that when artists wish for old DA, it's actually wishing for things to go back to before socials. IDK if people remember, but in DA heyday, artists weren't all sold on the idea of monetizing everything. People joined DA because they wanted a fun & friendly community of other artists first -

When I think of Spider-Man villains, Rhino is always one of the first that comes to mind. So its weird that we've only ever gotten 1 live-action version and I wouldn't even really count it

The crazy thing about this is how quickly I forget about it too. I hit ignore and I never think about it again, that's how easy the decision is when you're comfortable saying nothing is worth it. All the fun in the world doesn't excuse this. I'll just go play a different game
