My best guess is that using an LLM (absent economic/environmental externalities, which are beyond the scope of what I'm discussing here) has similar moral valence to, say, using a border collie as a herding dog. It has a personality, intelligence & an inner life but nobody would call that "slavery."

Thread of some of my thoughts on the Machine Games Wolfenstein series.
Despite the memorability of the five-minute Roswell segment, The New Colossus is much less of a clear-eyed and pointed attack on Nazism than The New Order was. One gets the impression from TNC that the Nazis mostly mildly disliked fat people, leaving it rather a mystery what all the war was about.
Next time you go "men would rather do X than go to therapy," consider Apple is currently running an ad about how a man's therapist holds his frivolous problems in such contempt that she wishes to leave the country youtu.be/rxSDjw7o5jA

Dreamt last night about a brutal fistfight which I ended by seizing the other guy's head and rapidly slamming it into a wall. 1st time I can remember being able to hand out real damage like that in a dream, which I felt immediately shocked and guilty about, so ofc the other guy got up woozy but fine
lol your use is not transformative, it's a totally unmodified still from SNL with a text caption
My picture is transformative, adding a new layer to the original work. I used only as much as as I needed to get my point across (I most certainly did not link the video) and my picture had 0 effect on the market. Another day, another AI stan having no clue what they're talking about :/
@cameroncorduroy.bsky.social am I missing something or does this chart show the exact opposite result of what your theory predicts? Mainly I'm not sure what the x-axis is doing here
