Mark Carney might be the most popular politician in all of Canada right now - but using that popularity to ram-through highly controversial changes is not only arrogant, I think it's short-sighted if he's actually looking to build something durable.

It is so frustrating to hear Senators (intentionally) misunderstand the impact to the economy of preserving the right to strike. Labour's position is that when employers believe the government will step in - they don't negotiate, *creating* more disruptive labour disputes.

While not on this scale I have a prescription (biologic) that's $2700 a month for one dose. Trudeau extended patents on biological in CUSMA. He also killed the prescription price review that would've reduced prices overall. We talk alot about how o&g has captured gov't but pharma is equally bad

I do not support a new trade deal with the United States at this time. We already have one. Live up to the terms of the deal you already negotiated and signed.

Nathan Cullen on rumours a Canada-U.S. trade deal is close: "I just don't trust the administration. And if they're being dragged and forced into making concessions, great, he's making them already. Do we need a trade deal writ large, written a couple of weeks before the midterms?"

Making staff return to office is about supervisor ego and not efficiency. Perhaps organizations should review the research on this.

The contrast between the rhetoric and record is particularly striking given cancelling a scheduled minimum wage increase, eliminating paid sick days, attacking collective bargaining rights, and pursuing privatization across public services. www.readthemaple.com/is-doug-ford...
