We watched all of Season 4 in one sitting and I WISH we had stretched it out. #TheDiplomat is slow and fast and challenging and I just KNOW this is NOT what it's like in actual politics because every character is a brilliantly flawed genius who I have the utmost respect for.

My reaction to absolutely everything right now.

I spent most of the '90s in Bend, Oregon. A huge piece of who I am was made there. It makes me think of rain shadow, lava tubes, juniper pollen, great beer, ski resorts, & the most generous community of people I've ever known. I cannot imagine their grief tonight. Highly recommend. Immersive, personal and surprising. Details, not just about Stanley's childhood, but also about general life in The Bronx in the 40's. A really beautiful snapshot of a place and time, shot through a very particular lens. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
