Keep in mind — young voters are predominantly Election Day voters. If the early vote is this high…

Early voting by 18-29 Democrats in North Carolina is 232.8% of what it was so far in 2022. You read that right, 232.8%.

Yeah TBH I think the left needs to crush John Samuelson's mob as a lesson for what happens to chud unions that defect.

This Day in Labor History: October 27, 1948. An air inversion trapped the pollution spewed out by U.S. Steel-owned factories in Donora, Pennsylvania. The Donora Fog killed 20 people and sickened 6000 others. Let's talk about this deadly legacy of industrial pollution. That photo was taken at noon!

DHS agents took 12 minutes to decide if you're a citizen. A federal judge just shut that down. Now they can't interview anyone they know or should suspect is a citizen. The point was never fraud. It was fear, and to make you afraid to vote ahead of a midterms that Trump knows he's going to lose.

Been thinking about this quote from MLK Sr to James Baldwin re MLK Jr: "Never,” says his father, “has Martin known a fuss or a fight or a strike-back in the home.” Remarkable preparation for a life committed to a dangerous, exhausting struggle against brutality and brokenness.

DHS is apparently illegally leaking asylum applications to friendly reporters in retaliation for the applicants speaking to the media. This administration spits on the concept of privacy laws

To be cynical I suspect a large part of this is that Toronto is about 50% renters these days and the taxes she is going to raise are property taxes.

One of the reasons why I‘m really happy Olivia Chow won re-election by a big margin is this time (and last time) she explicitly ran on raising taxes to plug the city’s financial crisis. Really good precedent that fantasyland slopulism wasn’t rewarded for once.

Flávio Bolsonaro had his passport confiscated by the Brazilian fed police as his brother Eduardo told him to flee to the US. He is tied to paramilitary gangs, is being investigated & lost his legislative immunity when he left the Senate to run for president. paydayreport.com/brazilian-fe...

You can preserve your identity and your rights whilst I am in the Knesset too. Voting does not whitewash the occupation, nor does it suggest that the State of Israel is a democratic state; the racist laws are perfectly clear.

20 per cent of the population must secure at least 25 seats in the Knesset to become a powerful force capable of bringing about significant change, one that no one can ignore. Being in the Knesset does not mean compromising one’s identity or rights.

For the workers, for the prisoners and their families, for the children and women – take part in the vote and punish the fascist government. We wish Comrade Ofer Kassif and his colleagues in the Joint Arab List, as well as our brothers in the United Arab List, every success.

Not voting only benefits the far right, allowing them to remain in power for longer and longer; not voting serves the interests of a fascist terrorist group that controls every aspect of our lives. This group’s stated aim is to expel us and you, swiftly and unequivocally.

Voting will not change much of the bitter reality, but it is very important. We know that your vote will not end the occupation, but it will lessen its impact on us all, and after voting we must work to organise ourselves into a popular movement against the occupation and apartheid.

tzeddek32.bsky.social reposted

Our dear people inside Palestine, voting for the Joint Arab List in the elections will help us and our people to rid ourselves of the racist fascists who have made our lives unbearable over the last four years. Voting is a duty and the least you can do in this difficult situation.
