🚀 Day 3 of #AAI4Science Summit at #AIFuturesLab! Teams focused on prototyping demonstrations for versioning analyses conducted by teams of humans and agents, actor attribution in the #ASTRA standard, and reproducing multiverse analyses. Exciting to watch these creative projects take shape!

💻 Day 2 AAI4Science summit has been full of activity! Participants dug deep in to design discussions, coding blocks, and a participant-led unconference. The questions taking shape go right to the heart of what #OpenSource is all about, and it's exciting to watch them develop. 👀 #AIFuturesLab

☀️ We had a GREAT kickoff with the Lightcone Research team today, hosting the #AAI4Science Developer Summit at the #AIFuturesLab in Berkeley! 🤝 Teams formed around the themes of trust & verification, research infrastructure, and more. Tomorrow, they dig into their projects and start coding!

🚨 Announcement: #BioJupyter is a new open source computational platform - part of the BCBI initiative! 👀 Stay tuned: Next month, the fellowship application process for postdoctoral researchers will be launched.

Congrats to @serenabonaretti.bsky.social or the physical publication of her awesome "Learn Python with Jupyter" 📙 👏 🎉 , and thanks for sending me a physical copy to Berkeley! The weaving of Python+Jupyter and how to use them to think is wonderful. We're fortunate to have Serena in our community!

🌟 The Gateway is a place to make new connections & develop deeper ones. This matters, because BIDS initiatives are designed in collaboration with domain experts across campus, our global open source communities, & BIDS data scientists & software engineers. We are thrilled to be part of this future!
