hello. i don't know if you know this but i am a massive fucking nerd. for years i have been chewing on simple formulas that work well for a game with stats that grow from ~16-320 (higher with buffs etc.) and, crucially, every stat is roughly equal in value point for point. current iteration:

i still like mistria and i think it's well worth the price but man, it really starts to unravel after the first year. there's a pretty severe mismatch between the mines content, the town progression content, and the pace of level-ups and relationships. and then half the relationships are meaningless

After about 170 hours on and off over the course of the last year, I've beaten Zakuzaku Actors! I'm gonna compile my thoughts elsewhere, but safe to say it's one of the best games I've ever played. The silly exterior hides a heart rending story about making the most out of life, even at its worst.
