The brewers are on fire man. Are we sure theyre playing in tampa bay? The crowd is losing it

So polymarket had the odds nearly 50-50 favoring Bolsenaro til he won the first election 47-45 at the beginning of October. Then Lula won the runoff 51-48. This chart is completely reasonable? What point is being made here

Molly White@molly.wiki

someone at Polymarket is drafting a tweet about how their users accurately predicted the Brazilian election result within one point

I cant believe im that guy now but.. did they nerf Opus 5.5? All of a sudden its painfully unhelpful

I really enjoyed the experience of watching You Can See Everything but I’m also very frustrated by the film and I’m ready for everyone to have seen it now so that I don’t spoil it

I dont understand why federal government services are using id dot me instead of login dot gov

well you can tell CNN doesn't use LLMs to write their articles because they make basic spelling errors

Breaking News Virginia state Sen. L. Louise Lucas, who long advocated for the legalization of marijuana, indicted on drug and money laundering charges. https://cnn.it/4Bqy3HG

this must not happen. if they win the midterms, democrats cannot allow it under any circumstances. a total disgrace, if they do. i have no faith in chuck schumer.

The Trump administration says tonight that it could begin construction of the triumphal arch on Nov. 5 — immediately after next month's vote.

it's so weird to look at the gaming community rejecting LLMs for game dev. there's now a machine you can talk to to make any game you want, or frequently modify any game you want in any way you want. your dreams have now come true. and a lot of them are rejecting it. head scratching

Let’s say you could travel back in time 10 years and bring an Opus 5.5 Max subscription with you. Do you think you could create a billion dollar company? I kinda think it wouldn’t even be that hard. I wonder if this would be a helpful exercise to explain how powerful LLMs are to the average person

404 media joining the war against corporations on the side of corporations

Jason Koebler@jasonkoebler.bsky.social

The AI 'Reverse Engineer Anything' craze is going to further sloppify the real world & put insecure buggy stuff on all sorts of hardware. It is also going to liberate a bunch of internet of shit devices that have been needlessly bricked by their manufacturers www.404media.co/reverse-engi...

Super disagree personally. Been so useful inside my company. Skills for describing various business logics, team dynamics, microservices architectures and deployment setups etc

Ed@ed3d.net

I at this point am like 90% convinced that reusable/shareable skills packages are a bad thing for LLM users. The 10% is that it can show you what's possible; the 90% is that people want to be incurious and just slap something in the only person who can effectively guide your tasks is you

Mmk but whats the difference between a private organization and a public one. We are all members of the atproto community , therefore eg atproto skills or oauth skills or any other analogous thing to a company could apply to likeminded groups in the public bsky.app/profile/ed3d...

Ed@ed3d.net

I should clarify that in this formulation your organization should be considered one user. The optimal number of actual humans driving all your agents would be one if not for BC/DR and the limits of human attention. what QP is describing is _them guys_ doing things for _them guys_, which is good

You Can See Everything was pretty damn good. A lot to think about. Fielder is really special

Schumer must go. (Also did MTG and Fetterman bonk heads in some type of freaky Friday situation or something)

Marjorie Taylor Greene comes out with a statement opposing the raid on Ilhan Omar before Chuck Schumer, the leader of the Democratic Party

Is bluesky pbc still working on first party algorithmic feeds? I feel like im really genuinely not happy with For You right now. Idk if i can afford to fully Jev feeds from the firehose but maybe the cloudflare open version or something will work

Im so happy for him man he looked inconsolable before this

James Cook after the Rams missed FG then not watching the Bills winning FG

I've been using this today and it's so unbelievably powerful i don't even know what to say anymore. you can build anything you want by just describing it

We just let in every Pro and Max user from the Claude Code Projects waitlist! If you're new to Claude Code Projects, here's a 4 minute walkthrough to get you started:

I think it’s wrong for educators to look at the invention of the Machine That Contains And Wields All of Human Knowledge and think “we should keep doing everything the way we were doing it before.” It is now time to fundamentally re-evaluate our relationship to school and work. Not double down

The problem with “no ai for kids” is that i think it fundamentally underestimates how much AI is going to be in our lives. We are all going to talk to AI _in some form_ (i imagine agents, not chatbots) every day in ~<5 years. So by the time you ban it it will already be ubiquitous, and not feasible

I think the average person being exposed to chatbots instead of agents first is already making it impossible for them to intellectually extrapolate how this is all going to look in the future

The problem is that if the goal of being anti-AI is "AI stops existing" then that's just not going to happen. the technology has been invented and it's useful. so what then?

Evan Urquhart@evanurquhart.bsky.social

I'm increasingly frustrated that people who are anti-AI aren't being taken seriously, and taking a page out of my thoughts on why the anti-trans backlash got as far as it did I'm starting to think the anti-AI side isn't extreme enough.

Posting a bunch of half assed proofs, some unchecked by people or lean, in a big pdf is such an unserious way of operating. OpenAI is just not who I want leading the way in these times. They scare me

Ive been trying not to trump-post but holy moly this is kind of a crazy thing to say

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump: "With the war, it's just artificial. It's a little bit high. It's a small price to pay ... let them take out Los Angeles, let them take out San Diego. This is a very small price to pay."

I like when you go to a pier and they have a post of the all time high water mark like ten feet above you just as a reminder that the sea could swallow us all any time if it wanted to
