The NFL loves to throw flags on the Packers, so let me return the favor. NFL.com lazy loads its LCP image. Delay of game, 5 yards. That image has 13x more pixels than the box it sits in. Unnecessary roughness, 15 yards. Repost and *maybe* they fix the obvious stuff. See comments below #webperf

You can run this check yourself on RumDash: rumdash.io/tools/lcp-la... The fixes for nfl.com: 1. Drop loading="lazy" and decoding="async" from the hero <img>. It will initiate the fetch and decoding of the image far sooner. 2. Add a width param with appropriate value to the Cloudinary image URL.

so the lady that deliberately shot a puppy runs an unhinged operation?

I've started sprinkling dictation into my (mac) workflow, and one place it's become really valuable is when having to submit 2FA verification codes sent to my phone. Reading them out is way nicer than writing them out, though I only recommend you do so when in private. Try it out!

When you upgrade to 1.19, don't forget to leverage MIX_OS_DEPS_COMPILE_PARTITION_COUNT. And not just locally, but in CI and production pipelines, though the latter two *may* take some tuning due to increased memory usage. Happy upgrading! #ElixirLang

If ever there was a great busy-work task for Claude Code, it's converting all Floki parsing in a repo to the LazyHTML equivalent as a follow-up to the LiveView 1.1 upgrade #ElixirLang

ElixirLS is a rather active repo... not sure what the current state of @expert-lsp.org is (yet), but #ElixirLang LS tooling is moving forward in positive ways

New elixir-ls release! > ElixirLS now bundles a number of experimental LLM oriented tools exposed as custom commands and a builtin MCP server. The tools focus on model friendly text interface instead of typical IDE oriented LSP API methods #ElixirLang github.com/elixir-lsp/e...

Did you know if your load you LCP image from another origin (e.g. an image CDN) then LCP time may not be reported properly in RUM (but is in CrUX)? Let’s dig into why, and also how we’re looking to fix this very soon… 🧵

You are up to date.
