The missing Epstein files are back in the headlines, and the official explanations sound more pathetic than ever.. If evidence can vanish inside a federal chain, people should go to jail or hell. #Epstein

The transportation funding fight is peak American politics. Everyone wants better infrastructure until it’s time to agree on where the money goes. Then it’s Hunger Games with spreadsheets.

Still laughing at meme of him as John Wayne Gacy with a beard.

Here's a supercut of JD Vance having a hard time answering questions about the sluggish economy, Trump's corruption, why the US hasn't already won the Iran war, and more during the CBS town hall that aired tonight

More slimeball-ism: Cybersecurity firms keep selling “unbreakable” systems that collapse the moment someone clicks a bad link. The marketing budget is the strongest part of the product. #tech

Trump canceling the plan to livestream a firing‑squad execution is wild. Imagine being the guy who says, “Actually, maybe we don’t need a pay‑per‑view death event.” Growth? I bet he wants a trophy.

In a shocking moment of honesty, the FCC finally admitted the broadband map is a mess. Wild that it took years of people yelling “I literally have no internet” for regulators to notice. Bureaucracy moves like it is cemented to the ground.

May I rant a moment about climate? Numbers this week look like a slow‑motion dare. Politicians act shocked, as if decades of warnings were a rumor. At this point the denial feels less ideological and more performance art. Also, fuck those fuckers.

Bozos act like the digital‑privacy fight is complicated. It isn’t. If companies can track you across apps like you’re a lab rat, the system is broken. The fact that Congress needs a flowchart to grasp this is indicative of their utter incompetence. #privacy

In essence, isn't the punishment the anticipation of death? The dread, fear and regret? The terror? I would submit, she has paid that price.

Do I resemble a very aggressive realtor? "Mr. Trump, please note the 8 foot ceilings in this private residence, with en-suite toilet/sink unit, a view of the exercise yard and solid concrete floors. Only a five minute walk to the warden's office." #Sales #Conviction #Trump

Insatiable Corporate Greed has a nose for sniffing out anything it can co-opt for a buck. Recruit equally greedy politicians to regulate, then squeeze out the passionate, skilled growers. "You have to be licensed" is mechanism to limit freedom and leverage economic control.

Everything Trump touches dies - thus time it’s America’s Persian Gulf bases.

Angry@angrystaffer.bsky.social

I think this is an accurate assessment - at least somewhere around this number. The problem isn’t rebuilding the bases, it’s force protection. Iran knows what works, now they’re reconstituting their capabilities during the lull in fighting. Emboldening them was a grave mistake

The "missing‑files" situation is exactly why we are beyond cynical about institutions. If the chain of custody breaks, trust breaks with it. But usually with chain of custody issues--at least the evidence is still around ffs.

Not that I am even that big of a fan, but NBA preseason chatter is wild. Half the fanbases are convinced their rookies are franchise saviors. Summer optimism hits hard every year. #eastsidecurrent
