Today just goes from bad to worse for OH - was redirected onto trains via Paddington. Those routes are now not running either, so trying to get to Waterloo and find a way back to Devon from there 😳

Now his train has been cancelled - today is not going well

I love posts like this that point me in the direction of artists and small creative businesses, I always try to find them on other platforms, take a look at their work and follow them - this is rather delightful 😍

This is far too early to be awake 😳

Just dropped OH at airport, off to see youngest & then Pusscat-sitting whilst youngest comes here .. but yesterday all power to the house there failed, now on a generator, until they can dig the road up 🤯

Aaagh . Just went on to look at youngest’s flights for his trip to visit in 10 days time & spotted return cancelled! No email, just an update in the app 😳 an hour of madness and we now have a mum & son trip to Paris, to get him home in time for work again 🤯 only option available

Popped out for breakfast today and found ourselves in a very slow, but incredibly cute 2CV convoy going up the hill …

As we are carrying everything in backpacks on the forthcoming walking holiday, we’re at the pants-weighing stage … Andy has just discovered that Joules are significantly lighter than FatFace - 50g saved across 3 pairs 😂 honestly 🥾🤪

It all went smoothly, we have our 10 year cards and are now sitting with breakfast in Les Halles, celebrating that this big life-adventure is continuing 🇫🇷
