Moe needs to get his shit together and quit looking to Alberta for direction. We need to move Saskatchewan forward on our own path! If Moe can’t do it he should step aside! As a Saskatchewanian I am sick and tired of Alberta this and Alberta that! www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

I am extremely pleased that we are moving away from various US “kill switches” no matter the sector it resides in. In this case it is the payment system. Why? The US has demonstrated it is wanting to exercise its economic capacity in support of its imperial ambitions. FT apple.news/AmuWhfDNiT9C...

Mark Carney is the man of the moment, but I'm not sure what he has done to calm conflict in the world and so merit the Nobel Peace Prize. But if it irks the MAGA crowd, then hell yea.

Trump just sold out his farmers. Belarus (and world) has no potash for sale, all contracted for. Cost to ship it to US Midwest >$100/tonne more than to ship from Canada. This $100 represents the export tax that Canada could easily place on potash if Trump continues his trade wars.

Canadian potash producers export potash directly to the U.S. Canadian rail freight costs roughly $60 to $80 per tonne (costs to ship a toner from Belarus +/- $200/tonne) making ocean shipments from Belarus structurally uncompetitive. www.ctvnews.ca/canada/artic...

Canada supplies 9M+ tons to the US a year. Belarus can't suddenly produce 9M tons more. To replace the Canadian supply in the US, Belarus would have to break all contracts & increase production 2M. Belarus said they can't. Plus would have to ship via Russia, after US ends sanctions, costlier for US

Saskatchewan’s Scott Moe has decided not to be a team Canada leader and a weak link in the fight with his fellow US MAGA travellers. Why do I say that. 1. Moe touted that he is putting a 50% tariff on US booze sales in Saskatchewan. Tariff? Really? leaderpost.com/news/saskatc...

A potash export tax should not be taken off the table. Why? The US imports 90% of its potash from Canada. It is a primary macronutrients for crops. Potash is applied to virtually every major crop in the US, with corn, soybeans, cotton, wheat, and alfalfa being the largest consumers.

The Americans seek guaranteed access to our energy and minerals, want to control our trade, defence budget, and languages, and desire tariff-free market access. It's like they want all the benefits of a province without being one. GFY 🖕

Canadians should avoid eating American food or drinking their milk. They have fired their inspectors who check for salmonella and their milk is full of steroids and other disgusting things. Their food is made to be cheaper but Canadian food is much safer. Food safety matters to Canadians.

The reality is that the US is no longer a reliable supplier of arms. It depleted its existing ammunition’s without regard for its capacity to produce them in a strategic manner. With this occurring there can be no confidence that the US could deliver an F35 order. www.ctvnews.ca/politics/art...

Let’s think about this. US puts on steel, softwood and aluminum tariffs with the intent to restrict our sovereignty. Later he adds 50% tariffs to this and that and all the time says the US doesn’t need anything Canada has. If that’s the case then apple.news/AYBZ6cZTOTx2...
