Man it really took me a lot to leave one of my biggest and first platforms to post my art here and now this site is just going full AI toe sucking worship alright then !! I miss the days from before so much. I want them back. They weren't perfect but the internet was so much more human.

I think it’s good to make your own sites and newsletters, I will be looking into this. But a lot of artists these days are reliant on the centralized aspects of social media to get jobs and eyes on their work unfortunately, especially fandom driven ones 😔 it all comes back to missing deviantart…

I'm sure some of you have heard that Tapas is shutting down by now. I want to say something about that. When I was 15, I uploaded the first pages of CTC on Tapas. When I dropped out at 19, I was picked up by Tapas to make DPS Only. Now at 26, I wake up to see headlines that Tapas will be no more.

I will do everything I can from my end to make sure DPSO and DOTF is still available to read online. As for Season 3, I’m certain it will be on hold for a while. It’s not a happy announcement, but it’s not a happy time for the Tapas staff and creators who were blindsided. Livelihoods are at risk.

Readers who have poured so much money and support into these stories have a right to be angry, too. Still. I have hope that webcomics continue to thrive. I implore interested parties to see the merit of Tapas’s mission of bringing translated and homegrown stories to an army of dedicated readers-

I was shocked, I'd just celebrated the DOTF book release with them. We were starting Season 3. No one told me. Then I learned the people at Tapas were also taken by surprise. Many know Tapas as one of the only "legal" ways to read manhwas, but to me it was a hub for aspiring webcomic creators.

So what happens now with my comics? For the first version of CTC, I'll be archiving it on Webtoon. CTC will otherwise be unaffected, as it is self-published. For DPS Only!!! and DOTF, I’m unsure. I'm still waiting to hear back from Tapas. The books will still sell as normal with PRH and AMP.

I'm not going to say much about this but it is definitely baffling to find out from manhwa fans online raising an uproar that tapas is getting shut down of all places and not like. my editors. I don't know what to do but laugh

I'll be fine, I think. I hope everyone working internally at tapas will be okay, I can't imagine this is easy and I hope that the readers that are reasonably confused and outraged after spending so much ink can also extend a bit of thought about the workers and creators that are affected.

I sent in my files for the 🔞 Dvattra zine and the printer paused my order to tell me that the alignment on the SMUT PAGES were incorrect but it's okay because THEY WENT IN AND ADJUSTED THE SMUT DRAWING PLACEMENTS FOR ME !!! and would I please check over the SMUT to see if it's too my liking 😭

My dream came true at Transformers land Beijing 💖💖💖 My mother waited with me to meet Windblade since that was the only meet and greet at the time, but right before it was our turn, Windblade left and Optimus Prime walked out!! And my mother kept screaming “It’s your husband!! It’s fate!!” 😂

The best way I can describe Dungeon Crawler Carl is that Matt Dinnamin is spinning ten plates. Just when you think you figured out how he’s spinning ten plates, he grows a third arm and shoots a gun, and you really shouldve seen it coming because he told you he had a third arm with a gun 2 books ago

At a panel for my own book’s release at animenyc and still I was asked about Dvattra. Its my legacy (I have no one else to blame) But to be fair we also talked about transformers yaoi and dragon yuri! It’s somewhat comforting to be able to meet your readers face to face and see a kindred soul.

There's not been too much to share lately because I've been locked in drawing a completely new comic for the new 18+ book. I didn't PLAN on drawing a whole ass comic but one image was not quite enough, so it became two images, and then that also wasn't enough and now I'm on page 8...
