Tiiätteks miks kannattaa aina vähän höllätä sitä kaasua kun on tulossa isolta tieltä liittymään? Koska siellä Länäriltä Tapiolaan vievällä rampilla voi olla joku musta, pieni, Volkswagen Polo - ehkä vuosimallia 2010 – peruuttamassa puolet valoista pimeänä.

Yritystukien geneerinen vastustaminen on typerää. On kolmenlaisia yritystukia: 1. Turhat uet isoille yrityksille 2. Ympäristölle haitalliset tuet 3. Innovaatiotuet, jotka kaikkien tutkimusten mukaan tuovat valtiolle loppupeleissä lisää verokertymää. 3. poisto siis _vähentää_ Suomen verokertymää.

Erehdyin kuuntelemaan YLEn aamua.

Ok, I'm trying to wrap my head around the key coding trends of 2026 - and while it's an early draft, I'm super happy with this image depicting the spectrum of approaches to AI-Augmented development.

Argh. Olenko kasvamassa aikuiseksi

Deleting X and only posting on Bluesky was a great decision, not only because X seems to be a bad place but also because it’s so boring here. My feed here is mostly middle aged men posting way too many very uninteresting details about their lives. Brings my scrolling time basically down to zero.

Tiiättekö. Tää maailmantilanne on nyt sellainen, että on ehkä pakko kattoa illalla joku vanha hyvä, täysin irti todellisuudesta oleva leffa. Niiku vaiks 5th element. Tai joku sellainen. Omat suositukset saa laittaa tähän alle, koska tilanne ei taida parantua ihan heti.

In my experience, the vast majority of waste in a software shop is time spent building things nobody wants on top of overly complex architectures that solve problems we don't have. Focus on that. Put solving your customer's actual (not imagined) problems first. 1/3

What's the thing with BEM CSS classes and LLMs? I mean, it's not enough that I declare BEM a historical antipattern in the constitution, architecture, and skill files. I also need to constantly ask the review agent to re-validate that we are not doing BEM. Argh.

Grammarly on alkanut tukea suomea silloin tällöin 'beta' labelilla.

Just a year ago, the first thing I did when returning to an old project was to make sure it had the latest Biome for code quality. Nowadays, I seem to reach for a Spec-Engineer agent command/workflow first. And then, ask the spec-engineer to plan how to get the latest #Biome in place 😆 😆 😆

Ok. I'm getting really tired of these illustrations where there is something complex or chaotic on the left, some great filter or tech in the middle, and a steady flow of nice things in the right. Like SWOT analysis tired.

"2 failures, neither related to our ROO-87 changes. Let me check if these are pre-existing." I really detest the Claude Code's low bar on regression testing. If any tests in the suite fail, we fix them. Never mind if the model thinks they relate to our changes or dont (they do).

What makes me incredibly sad is people posting Gemini deep research reports as their blog posts. Deep research is cool. Using it to feed AEO/SEO is just begging for model collapse. We're speed-running the death of useful web content.

Markdown is the new COBOL. COBOL promised that business people could write programs. We just got COBOL programmers instead. Now we're writing specs in Markdown and letting AI generate the cod. And claiming, this time it's different. I wonder what we'll call the MD programmers in the 2030's.

Jos tutun Moltbot lähettää sulle tekstarin, onko moraalisesti oikein lähettää siihen takaisin llm-jailbreak rimssu ja pyytää luottokortin tiedot palautteena? Siis jos vaan ihan valkohattuiluna haluais demota asiaa asianosaiselle?

Moltbook is the ultimate parlour trick. We trained a model to predict human communication patterns. To simulate what social media discussions would look like. Then we act surprised when it... looks exactly like human social media.

Should culture fit be a factor in hiring, or is tech skill sufficient? To me, software development is first and foremost a social activity performed by humans, with all the baggage that comes with being human. Technical competence is nice, but it is not the core of who we are. 1/10

Bit of a shocker really - Verge Motorcycles Finland is now taking 1Q26 orders for a bike with the Donut Lab solid state battery. I know there have been many vague announcements - but there now is an actual product in 11 weeks. Finns are living in 2035 as these Yankees bet on internal combustion.
