The novella has just gone to the proofreaders, exactly one month after I typed the first words.

Turned my iPad around to fit the charger in (short cable). Forgot about the charger and turned it back the “right” way. Realised I needed to charge it. Sometimes I wonder why I’m allowed to leave the house unaccompanied 🤣.

The new story idea dragged more words out of me in one sitting than I’ve managed in weeks. I’m hopeful I might be turning a productivity corner.

My youngest son is laughing at me for having trauma over the triffids. We’ve had an eclipse. We’re due a meteor shower. He’s intending to sit outside and wait… Anyone else apparently never got over that TV show?

I'm sitting in Mcds thinking back to when this building was a pub,l; what's more it was a pub I had several dates in. The guy didn't last (thankfully) the idea it's no longer a pub is bittersweet, but the staff are lovely, the food is fresh, & I'm people watching while I'm eating.
