Nice surprise finding a destination charger at the hotel for tonight. Makes the running about tomorrow much easier, and the car will get a full overnight charge for the first time in donkeys! #EV #LongHaul

Ah well, that's Facebook and Instagram dead then. No way I'm paying to be "ad free", or get milked for data otherwise just to doomscroll AI slop. Probably a good time for a digital detox anyway.

Can’t believe 4PLAYs new writing extravaganza is next week! Rehearsals well underway for Hunt and it’s been great to use the @dancebase.bsky.social studio. Starring me & Deborah Whyte, Directed by Gwen Dolan. Probably the most fun you can have thinking about the end of the world.

Disappointing news. Canmore is a fantastic resource. 🙁

Sad news, heritage heads. Canmore, Scran, and Scotland's Places are all being switched off on 24th June. All content will eventually be consolidated into trove.scot, but it's not the nicest thing to use. www.historicenvironment.scot/about-us/new...

#Hogmanay looking like a washout. Think it might be a night in with a dram or two this time round!

Met Office - weather and climate@metoffice.gov.uk

The transition period between 2024 and 2025 looks distinctly unsettled for some parts of the UK. A yellow weather warning for rain across Scotland is already in place for Monday and Tuesday. Find out more in our latest news release 👇 www.metoffice.gov.uk/about-us/new...

Great to see facts dismantle recent FUD that EV sales are tanking. There's no doubt that the automotive industry as a whole is facing challenges, but the strengthening green switch should offer hope for stability & opportunity. #EV

EVA England@evaengland.org.uk

EVs making up a quarter of all new cars sold last month is a huge show of support for the sector and a sure sign that drivers are feeling confident making the switch. EVs are firmly entering the mainstream and are fast becoming the option of choice.

Phase 2 of the resolution to do more and go places this year is in progress. Barcelona is beautiful! Found a pub playing Nirvana and Metallica that'll also be showing the Six Nations Scotland match later. Score! Just missing some company! 😂

Been having a great time in #Dublin on a solo trip, but great to catch up with an old friend while I'm here & get to some of the 'proper' pubs. Must have walked over 30k already! I'll be back for more no doubt! #GanSolo #Holibob
